How did you discover Fallout ?

My friend got the first one when I got Fallout 3, he told me about how realistic it was and I got both on an offer and started playing them. Good investment.

What info do you want to know?

Is there more detail to HC mode other than dehydration, weight of ammo, need of sleep and Stimpaks healing over time instead of instantly? Also, are there Perks related to the Survival skill?

    Robot and Human sex?.....

Maybe Vegas has robots for sexual favors e.g. a company making them or robots programmed to be prostitutes (eww)

Oh goody, the Gunslinger and Quick Draw perks make my dream of making a revolver hero more possible

Things you *aren't* pleased to see

Only thing probably is that it's too Fallout 3-ish and seems a bit repetitive. Looking at the pictures, it hasn't much changed but it's going to be good.

Big BIG flaw in FO3 (imo)

Yeah, I too realized you're just wandering blindly out of the Vault because your dad did too and you wanted to see him again or something like that. The character in FO3 has no help, no information, he's stranded outside the Vault, helpless and unknowing of the current world.

Any idea when we can pre-load?

I heard Steam offers some sort of pre-load at least for some games so that they will be preloaded and are ready to be played the day of it's release but I can't confirm even though I heard about it.

    Wild Wasteland-- your thoughts

Sounds like it adds humorous and out-of-nowhere events so I might try it as it also has references to FO 1 and 2, wow :) "Not for the faint of heart or the serious of temperament" I guess means some sort of (Looney Tunes) funny happenings, unpredictable.

    No killing

This sounds hard but not impossible but you might be screwed when a quest says "kill this" and that.

Can a bad game be a good thing?

Van Buren would have been a great add to the series, don't know how it would have gone on from there though

    A Vault Suit Costume?

KC's outfit is really nice, I like it.

    Your Favourite Fallout game?

The first one even though it might seem a little short but after returning the Water Chip, you can roam around a lot more and that's the best part of the game. The quests are really good, the voice acting of the characters is flawless and the story is great.

    Creepiest part in Fallout 3?

Dunwich Building is "bad mojo", cant be said any better. Also, when visiting previously mentioned Andale and I went outside, the dialogue opened with that one lady with the shades and for some reason, random NPC's just talking is creepy, especially when it was night and I thought nothing odd...

    Everyone hates me

Could be that you have angered the world, maybe from a shootout or maybe stolen something. Of course, not everyone would take offense, just the people in the current outpost.

    Busy cook in Shady Sands

I heard it is a Charisma / Luck roll, I too have noticed that the cook doesn't always go to the dialogue box but just shrugs you off and says she's too busy.

    A Vault Suit Costume?

Well, it IS a jumpsuit so it isn't a regular pants and shirt, the guy in the Vault 13 jumpsuit wasn't too far off, but it was too new and shiny to be the actual one, needs more dirt and sand to match the one in FO. If someone makes this suit, it should have the armored shoulderpiece, it's...

Huh, Las Vegas is a really huge city

I can't really say for sure, maybe they were targeting high-priority cities and targets that were a vital part of the military :/ Maybe the game can shed some light on the subject, it's hard to say.

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yaWHa4lB8M The video is about the vinyl because it's a clean version, others are live gig videos.

    About gambling

Luck is in Fallout because it's a game and games aren't always too realistic. You can't increase your luck in real life, four-leaf clovers and rabbit's feet are just legend.

    New theory about apocolypse...

Aye, he's a slimeball and it may remain a mystery.
