IGN Fallout 3: Six Hours of Exploration

I very much agree with that, in fact I had written this following quote as a reply to "Turn Based, real time, or real time with pause? Which is better?" ->

    MGS4 **Spoilers**

Metal Gear Solid. Not my type of game but I know countless people who love this franchise.

I didn't write that (mixed up the quotes man) ;)

IGN Fallout 3: Six Hours of Exploration

I see where you're getting at, and I don't agree. I still play RPGs (Fallout, Morrowind, Planescape etc) after work, and I haven't played shooters since HL2 (apart from STALKER CS). EDIT@ Bernard Bumner:I agree that games aren't as deep as before, but that kiddie comment was out of place imo...

    Too bad, that's me.

IGN Fallout 3: Six Hours of Exploration

Or maybe, just maybe, there are people who just want to play a damn game after work without being so philosophical about gaming?

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try that out. Haven't played an FPS since HL2...

STALKER CS: I got to the garbage and the radiation is killing me. I went to Agropon Research (sp?) and I still die due to radiation. The main quest I need to destroy the bandit base I think, or speak to someone in Garbage, but besides that. What can I do? :(

General Gaming Megathread: What are you playing?

STALKER CS: I'm finding it hard :(

It feels like writing the same thing in two different places

    Fallout 3: Gathering Good Karma

Karma and reputation are different. Reputation is how you're perceived in the world by others, karma is what you actually are. So if you stole something, yes your karma should be affected negatively, even if no one saw you, but your reputation should not be affected, since no one saw you. I...

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky

That's a horrible 'review'. Does he play on a 10 year old computer? His fault not the game's fault, even if STALKER CS is buggy. I'm playing on a 5 year old computer anyway :P

    NotesOnGameDev.net interviews character artist

I like some of the news ones, while some of them are meh. Doesn't bother me if some don't look like the originals, not at all.

    The Positive Thread

Why should anyone shun you? You're entitled to your opinion. I too am looking forward to FO3, despite it not being as I would imagine a third sequel to Fallout to be, and the game itself is far from perfect. Never the less, it's an RPG (for me), it's a sandbox game, it's got a post...

    Fallout 3: Gathering Good Karma

Hmm ok what I think... I like the idea of a place to stay given as a reward, but outfitting it with themes does not really go with the setting at all. I like the barber though, since I like shaping my character, both through skills and stats and appearance. Redemption is good in theory...

    Fallout 3: Skills and Perks

I *think* the list of perks on the vault is not the finished list. I take back my lawbringer looks good comment. I realised it said 'evil' characters. How would we know whose evil or not? If it was just taking the fingers off a corpse only than it would be fine and dandy. Maybe even we have...

Concentrated Fire I like that perk. And the finger-off corpse one.

Pete Hines on Fallout 3 mods

What qualifies you or me as a 'more than average' gamer? I don't like this 'average' or 'hardcore' gamer thing. Besides the fact that an opinion is not better if it comes from one side ('average' gamer) or another side ('hardcore' gamer). I hope they release a CS, I want modding.

Interplay Website launched, hires Chris Taylor

Same. Multiplayer games don't interest me in the least bit anymore
