    New poll

Wasteland II is the next game that InXile was intending to release. They were due to start design after the design of Bard's Tale, which was over long before the game was released, so they should be done with the game design and layout. Brian hasn't said much about it since the initial...

Saint Proverbius talks on the situation

I think one of the best examples of a similar situation is with InXile picking up both the Bard's Tale and the Wasteland licenses. Brian Fargo picked them up, announced them, made a few statements and then left the limelight and hasn't said a word since. There was the potential for controversy...

    Fallout 3 petition

Yeh. I guess you are right. I just don't think you'll get anyone's attention by asking them to "make it what the fans want" and "make it properly". It is like starting a protest and making a chant of "WE DEMAND THAT YOU STOP DOING THAT THING!". It is not a demand. It is simply an...

    Fallout 3 petition

Oh please, Skynet. I've been kicking around the boards for two or three years now so I know what the deal is and what he means by "real fallout fan". It's just such an inane statement. If you are a fan of the games then you are a fallout fan. What is really meant is fallout extremist...

    Fallout 3 petition

Shees! I aint gunna sign a rediculous petition like that. "make Falllout 3 properly"??? A statement like that leaves so much ambiguity it is pointless to demand it. Even Chuckles was trying to do FOBOS properly. Isometric view, turn based combat and even SPECIAL are still only a means...

    MCA talks about Mariposa

I thought Richard Grey was originally a vault dweller and as such had a very low rad-count. As described by the computer at the glow, the effect of genetic damage caused by exposure to radiation is what interferes with the FEV. It always seemed to me that his eventual goal was to create more...

    IPLY surprises?

Or perhaps they'll start believing Herve when he's say "Hey, relax guy. There's nothing to worry about. Take the load off, have a seat. Have a holiday guy." (ala Sadam Hussein on South Park)

    IPLY surprises?

What the hell else is the receptionist going to say? You don't pay your receptionists to spread the dark word of doom and gloom to the public do you? Sheese some people!

    IPLY surprises?

Actually, a baboon's arse is quite competent at it's job... Being red and shiny and producing shit. Not a bad analogy for Herve Caen afterall I guess...

    IPLY update

Nah, like St P said, if Herve were to cash out now that would put him in danger of an insider trading suit. If he was wily, what he'd be doing now would be pushing for more time so that he can syphon what funds he can off into areas which cannot be touched by the creditors and executors.

Who is this Stanstan0 guy? Is the sale of backlog catalog items verified or is it merely his own assumptions. (You should never assume because it makes an ass out of U and me) It appears his only argument is the symmantics of whether it was lost or sold and specifically what rights are...

    Interplay's D&D rights; possible explanation

Lack of quorum hey? The shareholders can't be that concerned if they didn't even bother turning up.

Yah. Just thought someone should state the obvious.

    Interplay's D&D rights; possible explanation

You all realise that if Interplay, Titus and Avalon all go down, Herve will probably try to put the blame on the Fallout fans...

    Bitterman speaks

Re: Co Dependency Brian Fargo was not the programmer on Wasteland, that was a man called Alan Pavlish. I cannot recall Brian being responsible for the programming on any particular game, although I could be wrong. Brian Fargo was, however, the Lead Designer on Wasteland. Heh heh. But...

News from the Interplay stock holder's meeting

This is a good idea. Ineptplay's biggest skills at the moment are cancelling projects and getting sued. If they give the project to an outside house they can then cancel it and get sued. Two birds with one stone.
