    Strategy Informer interviews Pete Hines

My mind is officially blown now. These guys need to do like the Bush administration and just have hot chicks speak for them. Shit's not so bad coming from hot chicks.

    The Positive Thread

Pop culture references aside, I've seen nothing that compares to Cassidy saying off-color racist remarks when there were mutants in your party, the dwarf in the hole, that conversation with that guy in the Den ('what's up with the accent?', 'I'm a provider.'), Hubology, hitting on Tandi as a...

    X360A hands-on

I don't think an army that uses power armor and plasma rifles are going to be toting around ww2 era weapons, especially not in abundance.

    Fallout 2: CONTROVERSIAL!!

How did a stage magician get to be such a bad ass? They're usually kinda foppish.

    The Positive Thread

I would like to be pointed in the direction of an occasion when Bethesda's Fallout 3 nailed the humor of the first two Fallouts. I haven't seen or heard anything comparable.

No, maybe the houses and fences survived until last week, and some kid left their tricycle there just yesterday. There are 200 year old and older wood framed houses back east, I've seen them. Stupid-yes Plausible-maybe It doesn't matter to me really because this game looks awful and...

Not to be an apologist, and I'm sure the jolly folk at Bethsoft didn't think of this themselves, but it just occurred to me that all the destruction could be attributed to the current BOS-super duper mutant-Enclave war that is currently going down.

Guy on blog: let's be mean to Bethesda

A slightly different way of looking at this is by not providing us with modding tools they're going to have to fix all the problems that pop up themselves this time! When will they have time to produce add-ons and 5$ downloadable Pip-boy skins?

To the Moon and then Mars

Giving tax dollars to space exploration would be better than giving them to fight wars (that no one cares about but the corporations that make up the western military industrial complex) in third-world countries. That's why I hope China gets there moon base first.

True, but generally the second one in line is turned side-ways and every third one will be inverted so you only don't have the exact same house next to each other. There was some of that in Fallout as well, probably an easy trap to get caught in when trying to create 200 years post apoc.

Guy on blog: let's be mean to Bethesda

Isn't it kind of late for this sort of thing? Haven't you good people here at NMA been saying this kind of stuff for like 2 years with no tangible results?

    Post-Apoc Films

Warriors of the Wasteland In a post-apocalytic future, The Templars, the remnants of a radical wayward cult, roam the ruins of the world killing anyone that dares to cross their path. Caravans and mercenaries are terrified of the cult, banding together simply to survive and make it through...

    Nuclear Incidents/Catastrophes

I heard a company called Rocketdyne contaminated the drinking water here in Southern California from Northridge to Simi Valley with radioactive waste in the '80s and early '90s, they found it was cheaper to pay the fines than dispose of the stuff

These are nice, why didn't they show us these ages ago instead of the Giant Resident Evil Nemisis guy with the shinny war hammer and the sheriff from Blazing Saddles. What you got against that robot MrBumble?

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

Opinions on fire ants would make a pretty good subject for a new poll on the main page, I'm sure the Bethsters are beyond thinking that poll sabotage will do them any good. PoS had radiation 'magic' scorpions that spat green 'fire' and gouls also that did the same but the 'magic' radiation...

    Familiar console is familiar

Fallout 4, I'm willing to bet good money, will take place on the east coast again. Also, it will again feature a petheticly small map and less role playing than it's predecessors and lame town names like Falloutville and Big Blastburg.

Gamespot UK plays Fallout 3 (again)

Fire breathing critters were not very cool the first time around, you couldn't even skin them. So what's the 50's era sci-fi explanation for fire breathing anyway, Godzilla shot electricity out of his mouth not fire really.
