    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

I was also hyped for this game. I think I managed to spoil the experience for myself by watching a ton of videos of the game before I got it, but I think I would eventually realize that it was mainly boring. The game is very well designed, but design cannot make up for the story. The story was...

The Gun That was not worth it when you finally got it

Fallout: New Vegas: the Q-35 Matter Modulator. It was hyped up all the way through the Repconn HQ, and it turned out to only be slightly better than the standard plasma rifle. I wasted a lot of time playing by the game's rules by trying to get the gun without being ripped apart by sentry bots...

Any good dialogue in Fallout 3?

Exactly. You have the options 'of course, gladly!', 'sure, but it will cost you', and 'yes, but I will torture you to death with a toothpick after I'm done!'.

Nope, I just haven't found anything yet that I can fit without triggering the size limitations.

Greased Lightning. Punch the enemy ten times before they've drawn their gun.

What makes fallout "Real Fallout" to you.

1: post apocalyptic. 2: a setting that runs on Twilight Zone and 50's B movie SCIENCE! 3: a grey vs. gray morality system. 4: no best options. 5: multiple endings. 6: SPECIAL, VATS and perks. 7: no direct 'real world' products or guns. 8: a good story. 9: immersion.

Mutated animals and insects too annoying.

I suggest a high powered rifle aimed at the wings.

Mutated animals and insects too annoying.

They probably eat each other, and a lot of carrion. In my opinion, wild animals are not extremely dangerous. Nightstalkers are only dangerous at night, when they are nearly invisible (hence their name). Deathclaws can be taken down fairly easily with repeated shots to their legs. Now...

Anyone having problem only playing Fallout obsessively

Seconded, my computer is crap, and I usually play New Vegas as a backup game while I wait for an indie game to be released that I can actually play.

Things we learned from Fallout 3

652: If you want to buy a fancy suite, you have no alternative but to bomb a thriving settlement into the ground. Sorry, but your ten thousand caps are worth nothing here, we require payment in the blood of innocents! And on the same note... 653: Want to overcome racial prejudice and...

Any good dialogue in Fallout 3?

I can't remember much about Fallout 3, but one thing I do remember is the absolutely two dimensional dialogue. Almost every NPC in the game serves as either someone who gives you directions, or is just hamfisted in there to give you quests. Your responses are also two dimensional. You have 'I...

Does anyone remember ANY Fallout 3 characters?

I remember Harold, some prick Head Outcast, another prick Outcast in Operation: Anchorage, Liam Neeson, the Irish pub owner, the angsty vampires, the Anti- Communist Iron Giant, some Mercenary woman in some archives, and a lot of people whose names either escape me, or are just blank slates.

Your "WTF" moments in NV playthroughs

Speaking of the drunks, once I was on the Strip, taking in the sights, when suddenly, I am pushed in the back. I turn around, ecxpecting one of my companions, but it's a lumbering drunk NCR trooper. Who promptly vomits over my longcoat.

New Vegas has ruined fallout 3 for me

The only thing Fallout 3 did for me was get me into Fallout, and by extension, into this site. I won't deny it was instrumental in my gaming 'development', but, in hindsight, it was a really meh game.

What I want to see implimented.

They are pretty awesome ideas, but Bethesda or whoever will work on Fallout 4 probably won't implement them. Bethesda won't because it would make the game too 'difficult', and other developers won't put them in because it takes away the feel of Fallout a bit.

    Steam

I have Company of Heroes and it's expansions, Left 4 Dead 2, Fallout NV, Skyrim, Hotline Miami, Lone Survivor, and a bunch of others on Steam. If anyone wants to play, I'll PM you my Steam name.

Is Dragonborn really any good? I haven't had a chance to download it, is it recommendable?

    Fallout: New California

I want Fallout: Colorado. Let's go to the Rockies, Boulder, Cheyenne Mountain, Denver... so many opportunities.

    Lets be fair...

He got disgruntled with his work after seeing his former tribe defaced by the White Legs, so he quit. He probably didn't report back to Caesar, and he probably struck out for dangerous wilderness areas. The Legion was probably too busy with the NCR, and Caesar couldn't squander resources on a...
