Sure, but that's the crowd that plays the Modern Warfares and whatnot, those are the people willing to play easy to swallow campaigns, so they could just play multiplayer after that. Hell, a lot of people don't even play the single player in Halo. They just go for the multi and that's all...

The point here is, that the Modern Warfares and Halos don't have any real incentive to make the single player game challenging, because they rely on the multiplayer experience a lot more. While games like New Vegas do have that incentive, though it's not as strong as you would hope to...

I know that :smugoticon: And it's bs that they don't want challenge, because they have a little thing called MULTIPLAYER, which is 10 times the challenge of any single player experience you could have with the game. Hence why those games have easy single player - it's just something...

What makes me irate is people who generalize, based on anecdotal evidence at best. Just look at your own comments. "Shooters for kids, blah-blah-blah". It's the same as anti-gaming smugs, who think that games in general are for kids. Which is bullshit, since the average gamer is like 30...

Haven't gotten to the dam yet, but most of them use rifles when I fight them. And I think it would make sense that one faction would favor melee, since you can actually specialize in melee yourself and actually kick ass with it :shock: If I can kill Nightkin with punches, why can't they?

NCR Ranger armor > everything else. In this game you have Damage threshold, instead of Damage Resistance. So mole rats wont hurt you at all. Btw, are there mole rats in New Vegas at all? Never seen one so far. And i did read in a preview that you can have one as a pet with a medicine check.

Only ua mods for me. the game is perfect as it is (for me). I couldn't play Fallout 3 without MMM, but this one I will leave alone.

He could be one of those guys that tell made up crazy stories about hidden Easter eggs, like the one about the DJ from FO3 talking in morse codes. If he is, than this one is at least VERY believable. I say its a hint to the Burning Man. Who else would be so badass to kill a bunch of power...

And I don't think you can buy it. Only NCR rangers carrie it around, so if you don't want to lose karma or rep with them, you have to prey to find a dead ranger to loot. Would have been cool if Luck determined that :mrgreen:

Repair can save you a TON of caps with the last perk for it. Cowboy rifles and the 2-shot shotguns are easy to find, but you really won't be able to repair That Gun on your own, or The Machine. So you are forced to pay for all the repairs otherwise and it costs A LOT. I had 4000 caps around...
