That puzzles me as well...

The new one is so overhyped, no way a 3800 lb car that has only 480 hp can get to 60mph in 3.5 seconds and have an 11.7 second 1/4 mile @ 149 MPH (a Ferrari 599 GTB only does ~125). It has a cool customizeable instrument display in the center stack though.

Look at the bottom edge of the ranger map, you can see the green box in the bottom left corner and the blue scenery bar.

In the same game I kept trying to use the Giant's knife, and whenever it broke I'd get it fixed, all the while not knowing of the biggoron's sword.

Well, the reasoning is the same, some don't want to see any fast cars, because, *ooooooh* somewun could get hurt and cause twouble. While they don't have any grasp of logic and are unable to see that the cars also serve an entertainment purpose and can be used at the track.

They were both great That place creeped me out, the floormasters did too.

I guess we should outlaw Corvettes and M3s as well, since someone might get the bright idea to use one as a getaway car. After all, why are the cars fast anyway? What is auto racing, practice to evade police capture?

:drunk: Actually, I disliked that about Fallout. It was like in Goldeneye where the PPK was "PP7" and the AK47 was "KF7", it just rang hollow, and in my opinion took you out of the game a little bit.
