    Your own Vault ideas

Speaking of vaults, is there a single vault in the Commonwealth that didn't fail miserably? Like, there has to be at least one vault responsible for the population in the Commonwealth, right?

Far Harbor - best and worst points

I liked the lever-action rifle. Unfortunately, Bethesda half-assed the reloading animation and the Legendary weapons from the base game made it and the rest of the DLC weapons pretty much useless.

    Ratio of raiders to settlers

Whoa, that was quick, great job! One thing I loved about NV was the attention to detail with the enemy placement. Fiends, Powder Gangers, and other "raider" type enemies have specific locations that they inhabit for actual reasons instead of being all around the entire map. And the reduced enemy...

    Ratio of raiders to settlers

How does Goodneighbor even survive? The only thing between them and Raiders, Gunners, and Mutants is a flimsy looking wooden barricade. Anyway, this is a pretty good map. Have you thought of making one of New Vegas for comparison?

Fallout Nuka World DLC trailer and information are online

At least Bethesda is playing to their strengths here by giving us an actual themepark to explore here. I wonder if Raiders will be implemented into the main quest at all considering that they can inhabit Commonwealth settlements. It'd be hilarious if you'd get more radiant quest slaughtering...

    Fallout 4 vs Fallout 2

I really should've cleared this up earlier when the thread was still fresh. I wasn't comparing Fallout 2 and Fallout 4 to see which was the better game, that much should be obvious to anyone. I just wanted to examine the design philosphies between Black Isle and Bethesda when they were...

    So...how was the Institute built?

I mean, how? How could they possibly gather the resources and equipment to construct such an elaborate structure underground so soon after the bombs fell? Even the damn Enclave never built anything as grandoise and mostly reused prewar structures like the oil rig and Raven Rock. Why not just...

The most facepalm worth article ever. "Fallout 4 is a good rpg"

Stopped reading as soon as they said settlements have choices and consequences.

    Far Harbor Official Discussion

Just pure laziness. Especially when New Vegas didn't have that problem 6 years ago.

    Far Harbor Official Discussion

Not sure if this has been discussed yet, but the huge "revelation" that your character may actually be a synth is completely ridiculous and actually contradicts the base game on multiple occasions. Once you speak to DiMA in Acadia, he eventually asks about the possibility of the Sole Survivor...

Things we learned from Fallout 4

    314. Lever-action rifles are more powerful than a .50 Caliber sniper rifle.

    Far Harbor Official Discussion

Yeah, I've encountered three locations just full of super mutants without any explanation. This makes the Institute seem even more idiotic than they are in the base game.

    Fallout 4: Exploring Far Harbor

Looks like a poor man's Riot Armor.

Two more pieces of Wasteland Workshop DLC incoming

I refuse to believe that Bethesda can be THIS stupid. Instead of focusing on giving us new areas to explore, (Y'know, the main point to Beth games.) we're getting glorified cosmetic DLC. This has to be a joke. Just...ugh.

Things we learned from Fallout 4

Wow, it sounds like the guy who typed that didn't even play Fallout 4. Multiple endings worth several playthroughs? There's only pro-Institute and anti-Institute and the only changes to the world are the flags above Diamond City. Oh, and defending those pointless checkpoints that have no reason...

Far Harbor weapons say Bye Bye to Realism

Legendaries render all DLC weapons moot. Why would I use anything other than my explosive shotgun and instigating sniper rifle? And if the DLC weapons do that much damage, can you imagine how much lead those super-absorbent damage sponges can take? Not to mention that the new armor looks like...

    GORE: It just works baby!

Bloody Mess in this game is just lame. Gibbing enemies in 3 and NV was nice, with a satisfying *squick* and mangled body parts everywhere. Now, enemies just turn into Kool-Aid dispensers and have their organs plop onto ground with no fanfare.

    Things That Serve No Point

Bethesda's attempts to appeal to the fans of the classics are completely pointless. They redesign Radscorpions and Super Mutants to better resemble their F1 and F2 appearances and they try to have the Brotherhood act more in line with their western counterparts. And in typical Bethesda fashion...

Pretty sure Mr. Bishop's existence confirms the Chosen One's gender.
