PC gaming Alliance: "Game piracy is not that bad...&amp

But enough to support the action as a feasible income source. -EDIT- Especially if at least 25% of the population is forced to have it on permanently, regardless of preference due to their 'free game' antics, however MMOs make their money mostly on long time subscribers rather than initial...

PC gaming Alliance: "Game piracy is not that bad...&amp

When they did this to CoH, my first response is that I'm paying for this, why the hell should they get adspace on top of that, thankfully they had the insight to allow people to opt out. However that's not the general consensus of the MMO population sadly, every third person I talked to...

    Warhammer Online

whether they use my idea or not is irrelevant, I'm not that egotistical to think that all should bow down to the mighty me's idea and implement it on the spot. However I just can't see a proper warhammer game being individual based rather than squad based, it just doesn't seem right. True...

    Warhammer Online

Maybe the server I was testing on was emptier than a burning church on Tuesday but when I was playing aside from dancing back and forth between the PQs and the RVR zones I wound up grinding a decent bit. Groups of PLAYERS, what I'm talking about is squads acting as one, militarily, and being...

    Warhammer Online

I played the beta, personally I'm not impressed with the game, yeah the PQs are an interesting idea, and well implemented, but after you get past that it's just another MMO PVP grind-a-thon. It's not even squad based for crissakes, it would be awesome if you got say a group of priests, or...

Starcraft 2 campaigns to be sold separately

Wow, I expected more green in Kerrigan's face... but it also hints at a fourth race, or a cameo at least with the Zel'Naaga showing up...

Bethesda tires of spending money to support pirates

Who said I was stealing it? I already said I am not nor am I ever going to touch Fallout 3 even if I'm paid to do so, mostly on principle mind you but my reasoning aside I don't plan on even looking at that steaming POS 2. I argue that in my opinion, most pirates are either the down &...

Bethesda tires of spending money to support pirates

BN, I loves ya but I gotta make a point 'ere. I don't often buy games, and normally I'll only buy either games I've played at a friend's house, ones that have come by verbal (not webpage review) recommendation from people I know, or if they're $20 CDN and under, some of my best games I've...

Bethesda tires of spending money to support pirates

As I mentioned before, the minority of pirates tend to be the gimme gimme knobs, a lot of times you'll find either it's people who don't trust the companies / reviewers and are testing it for themselves or it's those that just can't bloody well afford it (the tweens / below poverty liners...

Bethesda tires of spending money to support pirates

I hate to be the devil's advocate here but blaming pirates for everything is pure crap, plain and simple. http://www.zeropaid.com/news/9721/Game+Designer+Asks+'Why+Do+People+Pirate+My+Games%3F' Not to mention we have those that duplicate even though they have it to keep the original discs...

Starcraft 2 campaigns to be sold separately

I have to say this is bloody shameless, and here I used to think that Blizzard had the gusto to stick it to the birdmen of this gen of games and make a proper game... The original had (if memory serves) at least 6-7 campaigns per race, then Brood Wars had about 5-6 each, bringing it to a...

    Fallout 3 pirated, videos spread

We can only pray that they will to try and counterbalance the craptastic performance they're putting on right now.

    University of Reading creates "Rat-Cyborg"

2020 is coming All hail the cybermonkey! In all honesty however, as long as the monkey is not suffering I have to say that the monkey, Aurora as it has been named, deserves one hell of a round of applause, as for the rat-bot, it kinda falls into the category of abortion (being a fetal...

    Wasteland 2: Post-Apocalyptic Airsoft Scenario

Umm... airsoft isn't larp... Airsoft is in essence shooting the hell out of your friends to blow off stress and have fun while having real consequences (you should see some of the welts that you get depending on where they hit you, a buddy of mine constantly gets hit in the neck, regardless...

    Database question.

SQLite, sadly no, unless you decide to convert the database dump into a batch of CSV files and use native CSV import tools to load them into SQLite into pre-prepared tables. Try searching for some tools on the web, it can't be that uncommon of a procedure.

    God bless France

I love the aim for the head one, cracks me up every time... Although as an anime fan I can't exactly claim any quarter in the matter (aside from the fact that I'm an oath-bound celibate) due to anime's (especially in recent series) promiscuousness and obvious abandonment of anything more...
