    Akinator, the Web Genius

Maybe people have different experiences for different ones. I got it to guess Elminster on the first try in less then 20 questions. I consider that quite good.

    Akinator, the Web Genius

I got it to guess Zed, after one wrong try of Lance and then a couple of questions, the "Is your character gay?" Sold it for ol Akinator and narrowed down the options.

royal wedding -- does anyone care?

Yeah, and a huge advocate of land mine removal organizations in third world countries among other such things. Overall she was a very well liked and people friendly lady. She also appeared to be genuine in her interest in that type of stuff, and not motivated at all by personal gain. She was...

royal wedding -- does anyone care?

It actually was a pretty big deal in the United States as well. All of our major news networks had a great deal of coverage on it including entertainment programs. Which makes sense to some degree, because people over here associate the Royal Family with celebrity status. Just look at how we...

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

As far as Bodom covers go, nothing can top this travesty. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ4gc1Fd_JE

I would say MK 9 is the current king. They really redeemed themselves with this one, it is pretty great.

    The Bad Movie Thread

Ha, I loved 30 Days of Night, it was a refreshing and fun Vampire slaughterfest movie. Nothing more and nothing less. One of those you don't take to seriously and just have a good time watching. Scott Pilgrim Vs the World was just epic and it is a great nerd movie. Not Nerd as in how a lot...

    Zombification Sterilization

The spirit was willing but the spearhead was weak. :P Which does not apply in the slightest in a Zombie Outbreak setting. The location and rural farmland that is expansive and present in the south would be to good to pass up.

    Zombification Sterilization

I dunno, I would take the experiences of a group of people who have generations experience of living off the land via hunting and farming, extensive firearms use, and the creation of homemade explosives for clearing beaver dams on the weekends above the skills of those up north in this scenario...

2011 Libyan uprising and no fly zone.

It is ok, worst comes to worst we have a new place to invade a decade from now. You gotta let the dogs off the leash and have some fun every once in a while, as well as test all of our fancy weapons. Overall I find it funny really, talking to my Marine and Soldier friends. They are so eager...

Valve has a noticeably uncreative corporate culture

I have always been critical of Valve, even on these forums in the past actually. As with all places that PC elitist seem to congregate (as in here) you will find no short supply of hypocritical fanboys who are willing and eager to blindly suck Gabes collective cock. This thread just proves...

2011 Libyan uprising and no fly zone.

A very large portion of the military defected to the rebels, taking all the equipment along with it, The rebels are in control of a lot of the country. Gaddaffi kept the Libyan military weak on purpose because he always feared an uprising. Hence why he is flying in African mercenaries that...

2011 Libyan uprising and no fly zone.

I am pretty shocked we have not had a thread here about the middle east yet uprisings yet. Anyways I don't have much to add that we don't all already know, Gaddaffi is a nutter, we have always known he was a nutter. A nutter with good taste in female body guards but a nutter all the same. I...

    America's newest drug

I highly doubt Fallout was on anyones mind when they named the drug. Ex-Rad is a very generic and plausible name considering what the drug does.

Muammar Gaddafi and Battlefield 3 gameplay.

Oh lighten up. As far as Battlefield 3, is it going to be more consoleish or a throw back to the larger scale maps of 42? I have not been following it so I don't know.

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

16 minutes and 29 seconds of perfection. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8_q3QlIQvA4 Matt Barlow announced his retirement from Iced Earth (again) this week. I have a feeling this time it is for good, a truly sad day indeed. One of the greatest metal vocalist for one of the greatest metal bands.

20 years in prison for a youtubesinger

Play with fire get burned, it was a silly thing for him to do. When he is laying in that rack at night getting turned out by the prison wolf he might come to that realization. 20 years is a bit much though, I think his lesson will be served after just a few short months. They will make a blow...

    Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim

Say what you will about the series, that trailer was pretty damn epic. I am excited about the game, going in expecting an at least decent Action RPG and don't think I will be disappointed.

Firearms and their relation to crime figures

Yes, it sounds like a warzone indeed. Apparently no one can own a semi-automatic sporting rifle with over a ten round capacity without wanting to go on a mass shooting spree instead of just taking it to the range like the vast majority of said owners of such weapons do. It goes both ways.
