A Blatant Example of Mass Media Manipulation

As if CNN or MSNBC or any other corporate controlled big money news industry does not use dirty tricks as well. They are all dirty. All of the popular 9/11 conspiracy theories that made it to the mainstream like Loose Change were discredited long ago, there is a reason people don't care...

A Blatant Example of Mass Media Manipulation

lol Alex Jones. Pretty shady all the same, not really sure what anyone expects though. All the big names in news do this kind of thing.

Firearms and their relation to crime figures

Not true actually. The semi-auto variant of both the AR-15,AK-47, FN FAL, P90,(insert random Assault/Battle Rifle here) etc etc etc are all marketed and sold as sporting rifles. The majority of these guns will only see range time. If you want to attack guns at least go for the gun crime...

Firearms and their relation to crime figures

Actually no, the gun situation in Britain is deplorable at best. It is commonly cited by the NRA and other pro-gun groups as the worst case scenario of what could happen in America if we even give an inch to the anti-gun crowd. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TkS2BRoCd2I

That is it at as well. I do honestly know people who have bought particular rifles for that reason alone just as a statement because of it being on there. My 6940 has it but that rifle is just beastly otherwise anyways.

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

There is a reason people love AR-15 receivers that are stamped with the "For Law Enforcement and Military use only" bit. It is like a big cock slap in the face of those who do not want such weapons to be in the hands of civilians.

We have every right to question the validity of links you post from places such as the Brady Campaign, just as you would (and have) questioned sources from places such as the NRA.

    TGWTG/Online reviwers

A little funny quirk you all might appreciate. Here is a link to a multi part review the AVGN did on the Jaguar. This is part one. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CGEGon-Qc_Q Naturally once you are done with that you are going to scroll over to the right and click part 2. There are...

James Rolfe pretty much dominates everyone else in this genre. I have followed the Angry Video Game Nerd since the start and he has only got increasingly better. James was one of the first to do it and do it successfully. The imitators irk me quite a bit to be honest.

Firearms and their relation to crime figures

If you are going to use the Brady Campaign for source material you are not allowed to call foul if anyone uses the NRA or (insert random pro-gun study here). They are about as extreme and biased as it gets against gun ownership.

Firearms and their relation to crime figures

WTF are you talking about? No one in the US is worried about reparations for slavery, except for a small and not even vocal minority of backwards black extremist who thinks the world still cares (they don't). It is pretty much accepted at this point that slavery has ended and enough has been...

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

The Pancor Jackhammer is to shotguns what the Desert Eagle is to handguns. And any accessory is hardly unnecessary. There are two tubes that you load with the ammunition. A lever is flipped to switch between the tubes.

The design also appeals to the tacticool crowd, very militaryish looking. People will have all sorts of accessories slapped on them rails.

Yeah, I will handle one before I buy it, I just really like the design and idea. Pretty cool how in one chamber you could load buckshot and in the other non-lethal ammunition and switch between the two. I can see many Law Enforcement applications for that type of firearm.

So now that I am done arguing with the morons in the other gun thread, back to happier things. Anyone here else actually interested in the Kel-Tec KSG? 14+1 in the chamber is sexy as hell. Put myself on a waiting list at the local gun store today, supposed to drop later this fall hopefully.

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

Yeah, actually that is an awful lot of trouble. Here in glorious South Carolina it goes something like this. Step 1. Enter gun store Step 2. Give ID and select gun while they run background check. Step 3. Background check is done in 15-20 min, pay for gun. Step 4. Leave store...

    Map of Metal

Yeah, I noticed that as well. Don't even get me started on Bodom, oh what a fall from grace they have had. Have you seen the tracks on the new CD coming out? No. Title Lyrics Length 1. "Not My Funeral" 2. "Shovel Knockout" 3. "Roundtrip to Hell and Back"...

They should be included for completeness sake, but they should be cast off into some blackened dark region of the map :P. Disagree on Nu-Metal influencing new bands though. Very few acts who put themselves in an already established metal sub-genre take any inspiration from the grunge/hip-hop...

    Map of Metal

 And that matters what exactly? I would hardly call it a minioirity either. Some of the sub-genres are but traditional heavy metal bands have always enjoyed world wide mainstream popularity. Invalid point is still invalid, who would honestly care what an R&B or Pop fans opinion on metal...
