Having played it and all the games Brother None mentioned sans saints row 2, I find Fallout 3 doesn't even begin to stack up with them. Not as a Fallout, but just as a game. It really just lacks the quality that AAA titles should have.

I'm inclined to agree that comparing it to hybrids makes sense, I was just fuzzy on this years Major RPG releases. Not so sure about Bioshock though. I mean, its a port that was released this year, the game itself was out last.

I picked it up. Not liking it, even as a game. The FPS mechanics in it are clunky and stupidly enough your damage with a weapon is determined by your skill (Retarded). The RPG elements are idiotic in their design and the writing is just a bit better then Oblivions but still absolutely appalling...

Its a sight gag. You see it and chuckle, But think about it. Its saying you completely owe your existence to the overseer. The overseer didn't build the vault, thats common knowledge, its not the original overseer, so why do we really owe him anything? It trys to make the vault a dystopia, but...

Hence its a highpoint. Its funny in the sense that it makes you chuckle when you first see it.

Its one of the games high points if your looking for witty dialog.

I don't understand why this game keeps being branded as being a wasteland. I think by definition a wasteland as, y'know, devoid of life. Shit, DC is practically a bustling metropolis.
