The paperwork here it import a firearm generally runs $400 if you can get a licensed importer to do the work for you. That is per transaction or firearm. The big importers import hundreds etc. using the same paperwork submission.

Can you get Salient stuff in Europe? Also, there is supposedly an Aluminum Framed version of the Strike One in Europe- called the Ergal Strike One (Ergal being the name of the alloy used for the frame). Are those actually available?

I think he is maybe wanting to sell them as movie props- I am not buying one. As for the Second Strike One- Two reasons- I got a good deal on the second one and Salient arms are a bunch of fuckers. Maybe they will manage to make a gun that is worth the money. Typically they just put their...

I thought I would share these- a guy I know who works at a gunshop likes fallout and had some old non collectable guns come in and made these from them. He is thinking making/modding these for sale. sfcmark@sbcglobal.net Here is his write up: Raider Arms #0001 Double Barrel 12 Gauge Fully...

I don't like the feel of the collapsible stocks on my cheek (same as underfolding AK stocks). I will make an exception for the 9mm MP-40 copy once the price comes down (not paying bidding war prices on gunbroker) The 5.56 and 7.62 versions of the MP-5 will be pretty fun to shoot. They were...

I probably am being a bit ambitious on time- hoping for 6 months though. If you are looking for a sear pack, there is/was one on GB - post sample but the seller is getting rid of their license so any SOT can buy it as if it was a pre sample. ~1K IIRC. Franklin armoury is going to have a H&K...

This is my Arsenal Strike one. I ordered the super speed version (cut out slide and porting, match trigger, multi spring recoil assembly and "most aggressive stippling available") Strike one next to a 1860 army conversion I did (Used a 1851 navy grip). Black powder converted to .45LC Sten...

Here is my X-Mas gun- Vector V53 (HK-53 clone). I submitted my form 1 a couple of days after I got it home. It will have a Choate side folder in about 5 months (more or less). I also have a .308 version on the way and will get the same treatment (HK51 SBR)

    Weapons and equipment.

My opinion/thoughts 1. Zip gun version would be of course the lowest quality - single or double barrels. Rarely rifled (close/point blank range only). These single shot weapons often have to be disassembled to reload. Can be cartridge firing or muzzle loading. 2. Rebuilt version would be a...

They had an air rifle in Metro 2033/Last light and it worked pretty well. Air rifles with "modern" power can take down deer sized game, so people are well with in their capability. Many of them also have arrow/bolt conversions and are more powerful than cross bows.

I have seen one or two working reproductions of Deckards guns. They are 5 shot revolvers with a single shot .222 bolt action on top. They are made from a .357 or .44 revolver (Charter arms?) with a bolt action .222 rifle on top of it (single shot with a 1 or 2" barrel). The...

Some people freak out at the "What you made a firearm" thing. Even the cops were concerned when I was registering them (they have no problem with AR15 pistols made from stripped receivers though. In the case of these revolvers, they become "firearms" when you cut the loading trough that allows...

I made these firearms out of some black powder 1858 Ubertis. All three of them have been converted to accept cartridges. Both of the long barreled ones accept .45 Long Colt and .45 Schofield. The shorter one is chambered for .45 ACP. You can swap cylinders out and shoot black powder out of...
