If anyone is interested: The storywriting competition was a bit of a flop. We only had one entry... doomed to failure I guess... none of my projects work out right.

Yeah, presentations should be simple, clear, to the point and precise... you don't want 200 words on a slide.. 20 tops... you're there to tell them the information, not read it out to them or make them read it.. some of my teachers really need training in PP...

This is not exactly designed for fan-fic. It is designed for more original stories, but fan fic and FallOut related stories will be gladly accepted in the competition. The winner will be the one which the judges think is best written, based on a variety of points, so fan fiction does have a chance.

Jarno, that doesn't have to be the end... the story can continue even though the synopsis stopped there. Remember, you do have to follow the synopsis, but only loosely.

The point is, I'm giving out a cliché plot, and you have to make something original out of it. It adds to the difficulty, and hopefully makes for some more interesting reads.

SJgames offers a free version of GURP's 4th ed on their website, called GURPS lite.. its 32pages long and has all the rules you need. 4th ed GURPS is better than d20, but 3rd ed GURPS is far worse, IMO.
