    New Gameplay video

Wow. You are the very first person to make a comment like this. Thank you for your insights. You changed my life. Fallout 1 and 2 had big open worlds. But they didn't force you to actually wander through the emptiness. While theoretically it makes sense in a post apocalyptic world...

    New Gameplay video

Apparently, Fallout 3 is a shooter.......with a whole lot of wandering around aimlessly. Exiting the vault....it looks like Oblivion. Big, and empty. And that VATS.....come on. 10 minutes of playing, and that shit will get annoying. Can you disable all the slow-mo stuff, and all the camera...

Guardian Fallout 3 interview, the follow-up

It does look silly when you miss in FP, when you swing right through the guy. That's why in a lot of cases, first person perspective, and focus on player skill (rather than character skill) can be a detriment in an RPG. Although Bethesda won't note that part because it's more important to...

    Bit-tech interviews Pete

Rather than go point by point through what Pete said, I'll just steal a line from "My Cousin Vinnie" and go with, "Everything that guy just said is bull shit"

    IGN UK previews Fallout 3

Yeah. I think game critics really need to spend more time with the game, so that novelty of newness wears off, and they can be objective. But the way they bend over backwards to lavish games with praise, is just silly. "We're not making any promises....but FO3 induced a physical reaction...

    Fallout 3 Hands-On #11

Eh. Just seems like sometimes these reviewers forget that "creative writing" is not what they're supposed to be doing.

Tom Chick responds to Wired piece

Half an hour is not enough time to come to negative conclusions about a game. But apparently, it's plenty of time to declare it "game of the year"....odd how that works. eta: How much do you really need to see to make a comment on the quality of the writing?

PCZone and PCGamer Fallout 3 previews

The developers themselves have said the game it most resembles is Oblivion. All previewers are doing when they defend it as NOT Oblivion with guns, is they are responding to the arguments of the hardcore crowd. They are basically fan boys, and as such...can not take any criticism about their...

    Gamespot Gameplay Video is Up

Because the grammatical rules change a bit, when you put it into an acronym. It doesn't sound right to say "I am P.O" Like when people say "It is an RPG" instead of "It is a role playing game" Although sometimes people say "it is a RPG" but if you actually say that out loud...it sounds odd.

    Games Radar: Chunksplosions!

How can you kick a game's ass, that got 10/10 on all kinds of reviews? Makes no sense. Unless....Fallout 3 reviews go to 11.....

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

Wow. You seem like an incredibly condescending person, who just started posting here. Doubt that's gonna work out too long for you.

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

Actually it did. When it was showing the settings of the Elder Scrolls, and talking about the worlds he's created...they showed a clip of Fallout. And did you just seriously claim that a minigame looked interesting? It's a minigame. By definition those are tedious and lame.

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

Did Todd Howard's intro implicitly give him credit for creating the Fallout universe? It's said something like "Todd Howard is responsible for creating....." And they show a little clip of Fallout. Also...I can't believe people laughed at the teddy bear part. And then they applauded when...

    Russian Igromania Plays Fallout 3

Jenkem was actually something I wanted to include. I included it in my entry in the "BOS writing contest".....but it was too short, and I thought my storyline was too ridiculous to merit a re-writing, in a longer form.

    Xbox World 360 article

PICK ONE!!!! You can't be both. Seriously though. I don't even know where to start to pick this thing apart. Jeez. The fact that people buy into this, would read that article and think "Wow!! this game sounds awesome!!!" makes me shake my head in disgust. And whoever called Todd...

Fallout 3 in PC Gamer US, Emil & Todd on The Escapist

Hey...wait a minute. Why aren't I? Good point. Tomorrow I'll go out and get filthy rich. Why didn't I think of that sooner?

Fallout 3 in PC Gamer US, Emil & Todd on The Escapist

But it seems as if they've redefined "immersive" To me, that word has always been synonymous with "engrossing" and whatnot. But, people are using it to mean "I feel like I'm really there"!!! type stuff. It seems silly to me. And even Bethesda knows it, they just don't acknowledge that...

Fallout 3 in PC Gamer US, Emil & Todd on The Escapist

Wow. That's beyond retarded. Hence, missing the entire point of a role playing game. And I've never in my entire life felt like I was a character in a video game. I want to struggle for survival in a post apocalyptic world? I want to be a genocidal mad man, and nuke an entire town, for...

    CD-Action magazine plays Fallout 3

yeah. The weather thing is actually something that is even getting the Bethesda fans a little irked. But, forcing my character to be 19 is wicked lame. I know it is older than a great deal of Bethesda's target audience....but to me. It seems like a kid. I don't want to play Fallout 3 as a kid.
