Bethesda moves to rescind FOOL license

I agree, but it's not quite that simple. People have been so heavily programmed by subliminals and mass-hypnosis, that their conscious rational minds are imprisoned by their sub/unconscious minds. Until they can snap themselves out of their hypnosis, they will be unable to make conscious...

Todd at DICE09, on Making Fallout 3

Make dumb games and movies, get people to play/watch them, hope that people get dumber as a result, lowering the bar each time. The dumb-down is intentional. Look at all the Santa Claus stories the establishment puts out through the media, full of holes and inconsistencies which completely...

Mad Max 4 Will be an Animated Movie

Why watch or read about it when you can experience it first-hand? The next four years will be a fear-filled roller coaster ride.

    Game Informer The Pitt interview

If Beth think that they can compete with real shooters, they're sadly mistaken. They need to stick with what they do best, which seems to be sandbox gameplay. Too bad they don't have anything else of interest to put in the sandbox.

Fallout 3 GotY: EMA Best RPG, PC Gamer #1

Even Saints Row 2 is better than FO3 in my book. There was actually some fun to be had. Dumb, yes, but better than dumb and boring.

How many fingers am I holding up?!?! (1984 reference).

    Fallout 3 Operation: Anchorage reviews

Re: Three Blue Blobs In A Row - - 'Cha-Ching'!! The Masters of the Matrix know this all too well. If you can get the masses to believe something, then it can be made reality, even if it's based on a complete lie, which it usually is. Nationalism, religion, economy...

    NMA Operation: Anchorage review

I wouldn't play this if they paid me the $10.

    Bethesda to buy another IP?

Many things will be "going away" this time, including some long-standing companies which actually survived the first Great Depression. The plug has been pulled.

    Bethesda to buy another IP?

They'll tank along with the rest of the economy if nothing else.

Fallout 3 is Game of the Year of the Year

King's Bounty: the Legend was this year's best game for me personally. FO3 doesn't even enter my top 5 for this year. I would put X3:TC (basically a modded 2006 game), World of Goo, and even GTA IV PC (shit performance and all) above it.

    Man of Prey interview

It seems to resemble Silent Storm and UFO:Aftermath/shock/light in terms of gameplay. The premise and quality don't seem to match those two games, however.

Fallout 3 nominated for WGA award

The sad thing is, Fallout 3 should easily win this award given the other nominees. What a bunch of fickwits. Having the gall to call yourselves writers and then forming a guild to boot. Guilds are so 1300s.

    Fallout 3 hate backlash

Funny in a stupid, unbelievable sort of way. That's how I found most of the game.

A critic doesn't like Fallout 3 that much

from Wiki: It takes a lot of hard work to go from casual to hardcore. 5 years on the chain gang.

    Jeff Gardiner and Anchorage screenshots

Apparently even Mr. computerman president wasn't advanced enough to crack that oh-so-difficult code. They should've brought in Marvin the paranoid android.

Are games art? Well, Fallout 3 is getting there

The next decade is going to see another Great Depression and WWIII. The moneymen will win those as well. Games as art will not be a big concern.

    Fallout 3: Quests

I had to check rationality at the door before I played this game. When you look back on it, did any of it make any sense? I can't find any - the main plot, NPCs' motivations, the jarring improbability of the characters' circumstances and how they were living (the vaults, Lamplight, Megaton and...
