    Hardware help?

Not as simple as simply installing the new ones. ATI say you don't need to sweep and reboot anymore, but until proven I'm remaining skeptical. Uninstall the card, then driver sweep the old drivers to remove remnants, then reinstall the new versions. Otherwise you can have left over files...

    Hardware help?

At a guess; 1) Driver sweeper your graphics card and do a fresh driver install. That's an ATI DLL. 2) Not a clue, hard to troubleshoot without a bit more detail, but try reinstall drivers anyway. Make sure you have the login details for the wireless set up. 3) Those are missing drivers...

Mods you already want for NV?

Ballistics and Ammunition mod. I like realistic ballistics in my games and in games like this, rare ammo. How some games make content harder (Ie, More ammo, but enemies take a shitload of damage) really ruins gameplay for me. I'd like conserving my ammo and thinking tactically, then...

Link in your sig works fine for me :) Many thanks Bear man, grab yourself a bottle and enjoy your hiatus! Edit: Installer works, manual install gives me a 404

    Input Devices: The Thread

I'd be keen, but my free time is fairly limited now. Just started a new job and i have other thing's I'm doing at the moment, so i doubt I'd have the time to set it up. Oh wow, i didn't know that. I have a couple of friends with Razer mice that they absolutely swear by. Guess I'll have a...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

Unless I'm mistaken about the issue i believe that got answered a few pages back, it's a common mistake. You might be talking about an issue occurring despite correct pathing though, going off your wording, so ignore me if this is the case.

    Input Devices: The Thread

I'm running a G15V2 and a Wireless G7 at the moment. The mouse is dying and the keyboard isn't particularly nice to type on but i haven't got around to replacing them because of a limited budget and the fact I've come to rely really heavily on both the macro buttons in games and the LCD...

Were there framerate issues in FO3?

When i played it the game ran fine. Perfectly smooth. I had a friend with a almost identical rig except for a different graph card (Still more than capable) and his dropped to 1 or 2 FPS every 30 seconds. Just for a second, but it was enough to make the game very annoying to play.

    Previews and Ausir interview

Yeah, i did. To be honest I'm not sure why i spelt it how i did = / Still, i was referring more to the perceived inaccuracies i see people complaining about. Can't give you citation for that, i just see someone on a forum every few months say it's not credible. I hadn't considered...

Yeah, that's true. I hadn't even considered that aspect.

    Previews and Ausir interview

I never understood the hate Wiki gets. I can understand the stigmata surrounding a information source anyone can edit but everytime I've ever seen a quality check it comes out within a few percent of Encyclopedia Britannica. Not to mention they actually put a quality control segment in with...

    Fallout: New Vegas interviews

Fairly sure it was Obsidian. I remember reading in another thread that it was one aspect of Van Buren a lot of people weren't very keen on.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

I'm not trying to be a smartass, I'm trying to assist you in tracking down the problem. You said "High res was not on during my crashes". I'm telling you it needs to be on, even if you don't touch it. Now, i don't know if your saying you turned it on and left it alone (which is fine) or if your...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 2.1.2 (Unofficial Expansion)

The RP requires the high res patch to run. Even if you don't change the resolutions, it still needs to be installed.

[FO2] Weird colors when Installing/starting the game

Nope. Just make sure the game isn't running when you make the change =p

Fallout: New Vegas opening cinematic revealed

Probably forget this is a Fallout game and judge it on its own merits i think. The strip is really scene/genre/environment breaking for me. Just seems so out of place in a post apocalyptic game.

[FO2] Weird colors when Installing/starting the game

You need to set up Sfall for it to work. Look in your fallout directory for ddraw.ini and open it. Then look for [Graphics] ;Set to 0 for 8 bit fullscreen ;Set to 4 for dx9 fullscreen ;Set to 5 for dx9 windowed ;A dx9 mode is required for any graphics related script extender functions...

[FO2] Weird colors when Installing/starting the game

Compatibility mode doesn't work. You need to download Sfall and set it up to remove the coloring issues. Sfall comes bundled in pretty much every large mod put out and Killaps unofficial patch (I believe anyway), which you should be running even if you don't intend to mod. Have a dig in the...
