that's basically what I thought. Some people dont use cool and quiet settings and the ghz is up at max all the time. THis doesnt waste a LOT of electricity, but it does. it is the load that does the job.

Well, just because something is up to max ghz doesnt mean it's using max current. You can have many things showing full max ghz but it is not stressing it. COmpare this to like super PI on a single core, can roast it. Now, curious, is Fallout super heating that core on regular play??

awareness is ACTUALLY a waste of a perk as it doesnt help kill anything or solve a puzzle/quest. Technically, even +20% gambling is better than that. Certainly +20% accuracy in night situations in all weapons is better than doing no damage, defense or quest solving ability as a skill...

Well, gameplay was fine. I mean, it was the fine part of the game. Vats or waste 900 bullets in a FPS scenario. gameplay is just the shooting and running around part. that HAS to be the same as its the same engine. Shouldnt wig out for that comment. Now if it said story, dialogue...

If you major Tag lasers after small guns, you waste a lot of points if you dont have a lot of levels, or chose Gifted.

Well, Thief is worth a lot if you ever choose Gifted. Your stats are terrible in thieving even with 9-10 agility. THief is 40 points. Great for limited leveling builds like diplomatic. You really dont get to see many levels, so you dont get to have like high thief skills. shrug...

DOH! I really love the Steam and its transparency :) I love all of the effects. It really gives it an emmersive feel. On another note: Is Silent Death broke? Does it produce 2x damage on the backstab? Does it apply to weapon and unarmed? I mean, I know it should, as backstabs arent...

I know the style in which it was done. I wouldnt say it was bad acting exactly. The hero could have had better direction. ALl in all, anything grimy, violent, unwholesome plus those two girls, all bowing to Fallout, you can't possibly go wrong. ever....

Well, I think the original PipBoy was about that big. It might have been a little smaller, but not much. That's about how large I thought it was. Remember, it uses a lot of non factory produced parts. Those get quite bulky!! The arm based one is 2000 and 3000 right?
