Radscorpions hands down. They were the first enemy i found in Fallout 1 (cave rats aside), they were hard (at that level) and god, they were big. Just imagine finding one of those irl...

I must be a wimp, the only game that did it for me was Clive Barker's Undying. I remember being terrified every corner, every...well, *all* the time, especially indoors.

Truth be told...no mod or game stands a chance in the commission of knights of standards and practices for the fallout universe (aka nma) if that's the thing we're gonna pick on. Jokes aside...it looks very interesting, can't wait to play it (congrats on the song choice and on the narration btw).

This, all the way this and beyond. That was, by far, Fallout 3's finest moment. After that...good level design, shitty story, one-dimensional carachters, fscking tunnels and more tunnels and some fun moments.

"Top x lists" are, by definition, the epitome of bad "journalism" and should be disregarded. "Journalists" half-bake those in half an hour (using Wikipedia), they generate a lot RAAAAGE! from fans and the result is...more clicks and more ad displays. Thanks for playing.

Play it first is always a good advice and i'll do that first thing in the weekend. As for it being combat-heavy: it was to be expected. Good writing and deep quests are surelly harder to code/implement than explosions. And it targets a larger audience too. Anyway, congrats to those guys!

Man you're not kidding about the refresh thing, i did it 3 times (in a2/3 minutes timespan) and 41k->43k->44k...that's impressive!

As far as i know, and if i remember correctly, there was only an executable there, no source code.

I was thinking more on the lines of "it's too good to be true so nothing will come out of it"...kinda like the dozens of fan-made mods out there. Still, i do realize we're not talking about about amateurs here.
