    The Talking Heads

You can remove the heads by extracting everything - except for the animation files that are used by the talking heads - from the master.dat file. Then replace it with a new one where you add all the files which were previously unpacked. EDIT: It's possible that newer undat utilities will...

Finally playing Fallout1, got a few questions, will add more

If you're going to play "fair", you might want to withdraw one more point from ST, since you can gain up to four points during the game (=10).

Can I still beat the game? (fallout 2)

There definitely were bugs concerning the dream sequences in 1.0. Install the patch and use a savegame converter to see if that does any good. Else find Vault 13 (any guide out there will do) which will directly prompt the "village dies" sequence once you leave that location. Perhaps that way...

Best weapon for each NPC? (FO1)

.223 Pistol: Ian, Katja, Tandi Red Ryder LE BB Gun: Tycho Better yet, play the v1.0 and get those weapons multiplied then hand them over to each NPC and even yourself, should you prefer that. Or use an inventory editor if such is available for FO1.

    Cowardly assassin [help!]

Hmm...I can't recall if he actually has to attack Killian or not. Try killing him where he stands, as that might just do it. Else, attack him, then place yourself behind Killian and wait until he gets shot instead of you.

    Pretty Boy Loyd v1.0

Sure, providing that you stay in combat mode while being in the shelter. Should be of no problem if you enter it while Lloyd also is down there. Ignore him at first, loot the box, kill (and if possible loot) him then use your remaining APs to climb up the ladder.

    More Fallout 3 Gameplay Footage

After watching this trailer, it makes you wonder if Idiocracy was rather a prediction than a mere comedy flick.

    NPC weapons glitch

I doubt this might be the problem, but could it be that both his arms have been crippled? He should then still be able to attack unarmed though. Might be that this differs between the games, can't remember.

    Ghost Farm freeze

Ironically the bug occurred to me as well. Try to enter the farm at night and you should be save from the freeze (at least I was).

    Ghost Farm freeze

Could be the infamous "too many items" bug. http://user.tninet.se/~jyg699a/fallout2.html < Read about it there in the Addenda section.

Have You Seen These Bugs II

I succeeded in my game with the procedure given by OnGame900 by slightly altering/extending it. 1) Take jet until addicted then rest 24 hours. 2) Use the antidote then rest 24 hours again so that the "you need jet now" message will pop up. 3) Save the game then load. 4) Use Jet but...

Have You Seen These Bugs II

I've encountered this one once when I managed an instant "kill" on the sentry robot in the Toxic Caves. However, you can guaranteed snag certain critters special weaponry when instead knocking them unconscious on lootable corpses. The ones which you're able preform this on are fire geckos...

Eliminating Horrigan & Co. in Vault 13 and San Francisco

In Vault 13 they'll be gone. I'd checked if they remained with the mapper in San Fran, but after the sequence you wont be able to return to that part of the map ever again. None of them carry items, except for Matt and possibly Gruthar (his...claw). It's kind of funny though watching the dialog...

Eliminating Horrigan & Co. in Vault 13 and San Francisco

Yes, it doesn't but due to some sloppy work they'll appear in the sequence anyway. However, I rather doubt now that this would work in the San Francisco's BOS bunker, since the sequence there takes place on a different map. For your followers to appear there, they would need to be teleported...

Eliminating Horrigan & Co. in Vault 13 and San Francisco

I've come up with this method of actually being able to finish off Gruthar, Horrigan and rest the of the enclave soldiers, during the video sequence viewed in Vault 13. Despite being very simple to preform, I actually doubt that this has been illustrated anywhere before. I've yet to notice that...

No experience from witnessing the secret transaction

Okey, my character just followed the Wright kids to the secret desert transaction but didn't receive the 1500 experience after it was finished. I've not completed quest 6 in New Reno. Might it be because I already got the information about the laser pistols from Jules? Any thoughts?

Night Person and the permanent ability increase

It's correct what the above user stated. Even if you can technically achieve a higher statpoint value than 10, it wont be to any use for you. Why would you want to receive so many skillpoints anyway? With only 20 points per level you'll be able to build your skills high enough to do everything...

F1 - Getting Dogmeat to stop following you

There is no way to make it stop following you, other than to kill it. But there aren't really any big benefits to be gained by not starting to kill everyone off directly, expect for some chats (in one discussion you can actually claim 750exp...which I would consider more than enough to get rid...

The true value of Action points?

I usually also do set the agility of my characters to 10. However, in my last game I switched my standard agility and endurance values with each other (EN:10, AG:6). It was a bit tougher in the beginning, mainly because I prefer using meleé or unarmed weapons early on. I even had to use a...

    (Vault City) Stark Attack!

There are dialog options which will make Stark hostile (f.e. he believes that you're a raider), but scenery objects will prevent him from attacking you as he doesn't actually "see" you (I believe in this case it's a large table). It happened to me once too, but I was still able to finnish all...
