Actually, the whole, raise level cap to 30 and allow you to play after completion is very much just patch material. The least they could have done was make EVERY dlc raise the level cap to 30, but if you're only interested in one of them, you still have to get the one that raises it to 30 also...

Resistance 2 has an Arcade Mode that restricts the number of lives you have.. it's pretty cool that they included it as an option.
