    Worst Inventions in History

The Prankster Fire Alarm Trap must be the least thought through invention I have ever seen. In case of actual fire: Take one for the team. Very nice. Why on earth didn't they just make a contraption that market the hand with ink or something not easily washed off instead.

The ever widening cultural gap in Mainstream Media

Still bloody great! I have to agree with you to some extent. Really good, recently formed rock bands is harder to come by these days. But thats not saying Hard Rock isnt to be found. Great excellent examples of wonder: Airbourne - Australia, formed 2003. Bloody marvellous Stone...

    Strange dreams anyone?

I never remember any of my dreams either. That kind of bothers me a bit. Feel like I am missing out on something. Sometimes, right after I wake up, I can remember bits and pieces for maybe half a minute before they disappear. That is a seriously strange feeling. Memories just slipping away...

    What's your MBTI?

ESTJ - "Administrator". Much in touch with the external environment. Very responsible. Pillar of strength. 8.7% of total population. Administrator? The hell? The 'Pillar of strength' I like. Not all accurate, no. Not very accurate. I am studying to become an engineer. The working...

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

I am well aware of that. I did mention USA pushing to get the 7.62 as a NATO standard. They thought the M14 was the answer. That, I have never said! I said competitors only accepts the best. As in; competitors in a shooting match. The comment was on which of the rounds, .30-06 or 7.62 was...

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

Agreed. That seems to be the case, since 5.56mm is the new standard for assault rifles. It is a pity the Americans yelled the highest in this matter. The EM-2 looks great, and looked very promising. Wonder why bullpup isn't used more.

    The Guns and Ammo Thread

I don't see what's wrong with that notion. The 7.62x51 was developed to make automatic fire more controllable, easier to feed and so, and so. (though, one could argue how easy full auto on a G3 is to control) It is good for sniping purposes, also. It is an all round better round. They...

Also, NATO choosing the 7.62x51mm as a standard should be a good indication of which is better.

    Recreating, the Mammoth

Why not just shave it? Or better, yet. Get hold of an elephant, just say you shaved it and call it a mammoth. Would save a ton of money.

    High Fidelity anyone?

That sounds like an excellent rig for headphones. Never had any experience with them headphone amps. I just use the output on my stereo amp. And as I don't really care what my neighbours think of me, I only use headphones when away from stereo, or while playing COD4 on the PS3. The Denons...

    4GB of RAM

The Tweaking Companion from www.tweakguides.com worked wonders for XP on my laptop. A great performance gain if one installs XP while following the guide step by step. I recon the guide for Vista is just as good, though I have not tried it as I have not yet made the switch from XP. Edit...
