your certainly entitled to your option, its still the worst ending IMO, just there to, as you said, act as a safety net in the story. to make sure people can end the game. You make no tough calls in that game and i think that goes against what the story is trying to tell.

I honestly think the Yes-man ending is kind of a cope out, the option the devs gave you if you massacred everyone else and needed some way to finish the game. you should NEED to make a choice, there is no black and white, right or wrong answer. but to say, No screw it i'll take over instead...

i honestly dont like it, oh sure its powerful no doubt about that but to me it feels like something that belongs in that new Tron movie, not out in the Mojave. agree disagree?

yeah at those super early levels it can be a real pain to get. in the case of a few of my guys that did try to get it early (mostly due to piss poor luck at the mod store) i did ok with a stealth boy and several mines and frag gernades.

its a tough call, by the time you get laser commander you should almost have a holorifle. that and the Q35 only uses 1MF per shot (saving start to add up when you use MaxCharge rounds) and does almost double the crit damage of the AER14. I think i'm leaning towards it. (i use it in concert with...

scoped and equally importantly its silenced. its one of the few long range silent weapons, and what makes it great is how early you can get it. if you get lucky with mod availability you can walk out of goodsprings with a silenced, scoped, extended mag varmit gun and it'll be a FANTASTIC sneak...

yeah and once you find reach that point of the quest a larger threat will loom on the horizon.... like every other fallout game ;) not just 3

agreed, also Star Control 2, Master of Orion, Heroes of Might and Magic 3, Xcom UFO defense, Tie Fighter, System Shock 2, Pretty much any RPG from Bioware. thats all that pops off my head
