    Tim Cain interview

It's a feature. It allows the player to read the manual, evacuate their bowels, eat (maybe not in that order), read websites that give character tips and hints, and build up excitement to actually play the game. Yeah, it's a feature. :P

    Tim Cain interview

Personally, even though I love Fallout, I'd rather see Tim and company create a new PA CRPG world. I'd rather not see Tim et al be creatively restrained during development. In fact , it doesn't even have to be PA. Any new sci-fi world would be a fresh breath of air. Hopefully, Troika gets the...

    Herve takes a beating..

It's the little things - food, family, mortgage, my desire to earn a living to maintain those luxuries; that sort of thing. It's not a CRPG company, but it pays well and they've got money - i.e. they won't be going belly-up anytime soon. Gotta think of those things, ya know?

No worries, that'll work. The RTS division is part of EA Games, so it works fine.

    Puuk goes to EA

I fully expect the ribbing. I know a lot of CRPG'ers are not fond of EA, so I won't wave the company flag around you guys. But I'm still a CRPG fan, in particular PA, so you'll see me lurking around here for some time to come. Hell, NMA is usually my first stop in the morning when I get to my...

    Puuk goes to EA

Duh, my name is Damien  :P In all seriousness, I got a great offer and it really is a great project. I'll always prefer CRPG's, but I've got a family and house to support, so I go where opportunity takes me. And you should see the perks around here - oy!

    Clearing up the confusion

I don't think that's what he meant. Besides, there are plenty of other post-apocalyptic games on the horizion that deserve coverage and fan feedback.

    Clearing up the confusion

@ Darkunderlord - Kharn has the basics pretty much correct. But as a lot of other people have said, since it's pretty much a dead project (or in a coma from which there is little chance of return or memory retention), not much use in dwelling over it. *sigh* :(
