    Deathclaw hunting tips

Obviously you're not a melee type, but if you're having trouble then TucoX's suggestion to use mines might be pretty helpful, if you shoot from behind them and draw the deathclaw in.

    Deathclaw hunting tips

Haven't played any of the add-on stuff, but it sounds like you've got to try an not get hit. *wink*

    FO3 or FO: NV?

That's true . . . there was a certain campy feeling to New Vegas (that truck filled with nuclear waste leaning over the cliff in Cottonwood Cove . . . the hell?), whereas Fallout 3 took everything pretty seriously. Still, that campy feeling kind of makes me shrug and think, yeah that's Fallout.

    Deathclaw hunting tips

Only a few? No worries. Take the high ground and make sure to only attract one at a time. That tri-beam to the head'll wreck 'em awfully quick. I've taken out that whole quarry area with a cowboy repeater just for being in a position it took 'em too long to get to. As long as you're saved...

    FO3 or FO: NV?

I've got to agree with Atomkilla on all fronts. It's the feeling you have as you play that separates them.

Elders Scrolls Online announced.... so no Fallout Online?

Yeah that's a good point, I doubt we'll be seein' anything soon as well. I'd be surprised if down the road no game developing company took advantage of the post-apocalyptic craze in an MMO setting. It's pretty much untapped. Fallout's the only name that could do it, too.

Elders Scrolls Online announced.... so no Fallout Online?

Bethesda's only publishing / licensing this thing, they could easily hire a different developer to work on Fallout Online as well if they wanted to. I'd argue that a Fallout MMO could work pretty damn well (commercially), I wouldn't be surprised to see it trailing Fallout 4 like Elder...

    depressing moments in Fallout games?

Been playing Fallout 1 again, asked Ian to leave the party in the Boneyard to trade up for Katja, left to The Glow and stopped by on the way back. Ian was still there and asks, "Is there anything I can do for you before I get going?" Had to feel it for the poor guy. [I always reload after...

    No more VATS

Can Bethesda make a change that drastic? The consensus (obviously, not among y'all) wouldn't dig that. It'd be nice to see an example of "bullet time" in Fallout.

    depressing moments in Fallout games?

Finishing Fallout 1 as a full on good guy . . . with the Bloody Mess perk. "You march into the desert sands, leaving the shattered corpse of the Overseer behind you, never to return to the Vault."

    Retro or Modern Fallout?

Can they be compared? I enjoy each severely, just in different ways.

Would anyone take issue with the Enclave in future games?

Theoretically! I've personally killed bout three hundred of em, so that's 1300, an spread tween DC n Vegas they can't exactly hold any forts up . . .

Fallout 1 mod Fallout Fixt - next release will be some time in Jan 2020

I've practiced installing in different manners, but I end with this same problem: when I load up Fallout (4.0 & 4.1 installed) it pulls up a random load screen an that's all I get to see, although the game's goin just fine in the background (the volume works so I know it reacts when I click)...
