    Cashgrab 2 - Fallout 76 gets a subscription service called Fallout1st

They discuss it in the Todd Howard / IGN interview that Starfield will be their next game, then TES6, then Fallout 5 some time after that. So I am estimating that Starfield will be released in 2021 or 2022. Then TES6 will be 3-4 years after that (2026), and Fallout 5 will be 3-4 years after...

    Cashgrab 2 - Fallout 76 gets a subscription service called Fallout1st

It may be a spin off, but according to what Bethesda has said about their upcoming games, Fallout 76 is going to be the official face of Fallout for the next 10 years. If that's the case, it's hard to imagine it not having a pretty significant impact on the franchise.

Yea, maybe that first Outer Worlds trailer stung a little too much...

Fallout 76 Really Sucks. People Act Shocked.

What's really sad is that unless they decide to release something else in the meantime, this game is going to be the official face of Fallout for the next decade.

What Will Fallout 76's Failures Mean for Fallout 5?

From Bethesda's perspective the failures are probably seen as the things that make this game unlike their previous games. (Lack of the expected quests & npcs; microtransactions; and too many bugs...even for them) And while there is a market for multiplayer Fallout, their seemed to be plenty...

Fallout 76 Really Sucks. People Act Shocked.

My guess is they will poke 76 with a stick every now and then to maintain some sort of illusion that it is growing and getting better. That way they can make money from people looking for new Fallout content between now and the release of Fallout 5...whenever that will be.

    The Outer Worlds information overload

Stalker's greatest similarity to old Fallout is in atmosphere. The ambient soundtrack, miserable npc's, and creepy art style all make it feel like there is something wrong with the world (as it should in an irradiated wasteland), and it is through your explorations that you discover just how...

    50 Minutes of 76

In the original games wasn't Vault Boy only used in the character menu, and now he's all over the place like the way disney uses mickey mouse. And the tone of that nuclear launch is umm...unique. All those players gathered together, anticipating the annihilation of a town like they're waiting...

    Fallout 76: E3 Trailer

BGS twitter : Welcome to Fallout 76, the online prequel where every surviving human is a real person. So if you do play solo, you will be the only human in the game?? I guess in all of the "quests" you will be dealing with robots, computer ai, maybe some intelligent creatures...and the voice...

    E3 Fallout News Thread

I think Bethesda is going to follow what has been popular/lucrative for the past few years... battle royale, micro transactions, Star Wars, the Fallout brand So I think Fallout 76 will have some sort of play mode that appeals to the Fortnite crowd and allows Bethesda to have...

    Fallout 76 announced!

The pipboy 500 rads thing looks like a typical case where a 3d modeler made and placed a thing in orthogonal orientation, because that is generally the easiest way to work, and then no one adjusted. ...which appears to be that youtube commenter's suspicion.

Future ( bethesda's) Fallout with Chris Avelonne

There is an interview where Todd Howard says that one thing he didn't like about Fallout 3 was how depressing it was. It was like they didn't fully realize that they bought an ip about the post-apocalypse until after making a game about it. Anyway, that seemed to be why they went away from a...

Fallout 5 Predictions Thread (with EXPLOSIONS!)

It will be a mishmash of gaming and aesthetic fads from the years leading up to its release. If you ever forget what hairdo's and graphic design trends were popular in 2015, just fire up Fallout 4.

Am I the only one who sees serious space for new Power Armor?

I think it's like Formula 409 or WD40, where it took that many tries to get it working right. And tbo I'm not sure I want to know about the models that didn't work right (see Iron Man 3). Or it could be like Heinz 57 Sauce where the number was chosen because the inventor thought "57" had a...

    New Fallout Map Size?

Anything they could do to make the games feel like they take place in a bigger world would be an improvement imo. Maybe they use larger maps with a travel system like F1, F2; or maybe the maps are somewhere between F3 and GTA5 size with hubs of locations that are walkable, then in the larger...

    New Fallout Map Size?

I wonder what it would be like if the game map was basically a cube with points of interest more-or-less evenly distributed in 3d. I guess to do that the game would pretty much have to take place in a very large and dense urban environment with lots of tall buildings covering the map. And the...

    Suggestion for Future Fallout Writing

Basically, Bethesda should just steal ideas from youtube. There are plenty of youtube channels (and other places online) devoted to weird and creepy incidents and legends--some may be true and some may be complete fabrications--but either way there are many that would make for really...
