The Preston Garvey quest appears to be pretty early in the game, and by the end of it you have power armor, an energy weapon, a mini gun, and a dog. I wonder if they are saving anything for later in the game.

Consitency can also have alot to do with the difference in graphics quality. At their best these games might look pretty close, but one might have a more consistent level of quality over another. It's those sudden low res textures and models that get your attention.

Maybe the main character and/or family had to be turned into cyborgs after being hit by that blastwave before entering the vault...like it was the only way they could save them. They could use this as justification for why your character can bleed and use stimpacks and such.

I wonder if it makes the baseball sound and crowd noise everytime. I guess that noise is in your character's head, because with this perk you have become a psychopath--as you now see people's heads as baseballs. But I guess it sorta goes stylistically with the death "cha ching."

IF you liked Fallout 3 and Skyrim, I would say that you will probably like Fallout 4. Bethesda's livelyhood depends on that. That being said, even if I was a fan of their games I would still not preorder before reading some reviews...just in case.

Yea, Bethesda may be drifting into the uncanny valley with this one. Character glitches and weirdness in previous games weren't as big of a deal because everyone looked like a puppet to begin with. But now that things are getting more realistic...watch out.

After his attempt to take on three super mutants with scant armor and an assault rifle, they should have shown him limping back to his garage covered in blood. Then putting on the power armor would have seemed more like he was preparing for a rematch.
