Edit: Damn it. The demo showcases a lot of different weapons, and can be found in the Player's inventory right from the get go. I doubt you'll be able to find a Grenade Gun that early in the real game.

No doubt. Frazetta is a poor 'general' example- and i'm not really sure where alec was going with it, but the fact remains Frazetta is major 50's and that shot is reminiscent of both 50's comics and Frazetta's style.

Considering there hasn't been a single shot of them, I doubt they'll play a significant role. Also, let's not forget that Fallout 3's main BoS were an Outcast group, and that this was actually stated in game.

From the 'Fallout 3' perspective - it's a spin-off. From the Fallout 1/2 perspective - it's a sequel. Overall - who cares? It's a game in the Fallout universe.
