The future of transport as predicted in the 50s and 60s

First off, you're right radial, it's electromagnetic. Secondly... if you like the idea of the Grand Unified Theory then there's only one type of force and gravity would be a subtype of this force so technically anything would be antigravity. :P

Fallout (v1.2) Crash Bugs in Junktown on OS X 10.3.8

Thanks Wraith, I'll keep that in mind in the future. I usually rotate through them starting with 1 then 2 ... then 10 then back to one, but I have a bad habit of saving very often so it was happening even in my old saves. Thanks again for the advice.

Fallout (v1.2) Crash Bugs in Junktown on OS X 10.3.8

Since I wasn't too far in I started a new game and went to junktown before doing anything else. Hasn't crashed once since then. Maybe my saves got corrupted or something. Anyway, I've got it fixed now.

Fallout (v1.2) Crash Bugs in Junktown on OS X 10.3.8

I'm having some problems with Fallout (OS X version, latest version: v1.2). I'm in Junktown and am just about to help Killian run Gizmo out of town. Killian sent me to see Lars but when I'm on that map, I can't leave it (neither by leaving on my own nor through the conversation with Lars)...

    Troika announcement

Sad news indeed. I can't speak for everyone here when I say this, but I know some will agree with me: I absolutely love Bloodlines. I've played through it twice and have spent my week off playing it through a third. With such a lack of good crpgs these days it's more than a crying shame that...

    Replaying Old Games

No, but not all the games in their database are downloadable. If they found a place that still sells it, then they link it. If not, it's free to download unless the publisher complains.

    Replaying Old Games

FreeSpace 1 & 2 FO 1 & 2 Terra Nova: Strike Force Centauri Tribes 2 Discworld Heroes of M&M those are the ones I have installed. When I'm done TNSFC I'm probably going to go back to Realms of the Haunting again.

    New Fallout screenshots, anyone?

Sweet relief. Yet another reason for me to despise gamespot.

    New Fallout screenshots, anyone?

Ign doesn't have screens and thest titles are old (april 15 was the last post) but this may bring some light to the situation. They've got fallout 3 listed as a pc title and Fallout [Untitled New Project] listed under Xbox/PS2 with IPLY as the publisher. Everything about this doesn't seem to...

    Phase: Exodus at RPG Vault

This game looked interesting when I first heard about it but now I'm not too sure. There isn't a lot of info though so I guess it's wait and see what the next few updates hold and hope for the best. Just because there aren't enough PA games around anymore doesn't mean they can crap in a jewel...

    The Fall EN version news

Precisely, the longer it takes to get the english version out, the more time they'll have to fix bugs (hopefully anyway).

    Bourgeoisie Needs You!

http://www.garagegames.com/pg/product/view.php?id=1 That's everything you get with the indie liscence (I'm assuming that's the one they bought because it's 100 USD (per programmer mind you)). I'm pretty sure you get the liscence for as long as you want. Basically you get: Don't know...

    Bourgeoisie Needs You!

HOLY CRAP!!! You guys did that to torque? Doesn't look much like it's Tribes heritage would suggest. I'm impressed and I'll definitely help out with a bit of cash when my next paycheck comes in. Keep up the good work guys.

    Surprise!

You got VB didn't you? Or a life sized working model of a gatling laser? No no, you cloned dogmeat. Ooh I do love a good surprise!

    Fallout 3 engine info?

Sounds like their past failure TES: BattleSpire. It was Daggerfall FPS and it blew. Doesn't make any sense to me either, I think they just needed one more bullet for the list.

    CVG Talks to Pete

This does seem to lean towards looking like half-assed-semi-sorta-good-news. But looking like something and being something are two very different things. But it is still very early and I doubt they've done much but natter back and forth a bit with only some very loose ideas being thrown...

Interplay announces Fallout 3 licensing deal with Bethesda

:!: ATTENTION: This post is flamebait. :!: Flamebait it may be but I think it should be said, from a strictly technical standpoint 3rd person (over the shoulder) would not necessarily be a bad thing. I'm not saying make it real time and action oriented, rather that everything else being...

Interplay announces Fallout 3 licensing deal with Bethesda

ok, first off: I have a bit of hope for FO3, but I'm thinking that it's more like the stupid rationalization of a fatigued mind. Secondly, Bethsoft is not at the bottom of my list of dev houses I like, nor are they at the top. This news is obviously good and bad. Now that the drivel has...

    Fallout 3 resurrected, no really?!

I agree with you that the key FO guys from BIS have long since been MIA around the BIS offices, but there were some really good people working on the project before it was shoveled into the shit pile. So I'm hoping that what was designed (although more than likely not perfect) was pretty good...

    Fallout 3 resurrected, no really?!

More than likely, the code would definitely not be passed on. But from what I've read the engine was complete/near complete. Depending on exactly how complete that actually is, it could be worked with without too many problems arising. IMO though, the only thing that has a chance of being...
