A Fallout New Vegas 2? Sure I'd dig it. As long as the series doesn't devolve into a JRPG it will still maintain fun moments for at least a few hours, and most likely have mods that fix the issues that I would have with it.

You are doing it wrong if you are expecting Wasteland 2 to carry Fallout's torch. Fallout was incapable of carrying Wasteland's torch, so it's up to Wasteland 2 to carry Wasteland's torch. Let Fallout carry it's own damn torch.

I got a huge Wasteland vibe from Fallout: Tactics (both in plot and gameplay.) so I wouldn't be surprised if it handled a lot like Tactics.

A few hours ago, started a Super-Fallout marathon today and cut through the precursors to Fallout, Wasteland and FoD (the miserable asshole of a game that is.), and I just finished Fallout 1 and am taking a break before starting Fallout 2 again.
