In Fallout 1, my main character uses a Desert Eagle as his main sidearm, though he does have a .223 Pistol. Hell, Fallout Tactics. Had as many melee/unarmed weapons as F1 and F2 had weapons, period.

The FN FAL in Tactics is awesome. Easily the best Rifle. I just picked up Fallout 2 again after having put it on the sideline for so long and playing Tactics instead. AKM-112 with the Drum Mag is just awesome. The Night Scope for the FAL is meh.
