    Fortnite Fallout teaser

That suggestion is denied, Risewild. Mr. Fish is an inspiration to us all. Now on to more important matters: my motion to add “fatty fatty boombalatty” to the list of unacceptable hate speech.

i'm trying to play fallout 4 and its miserable

I think it’s because Fallout 4 at least has that “cool post-apocalyptic ruined city” environment which is a lot more interesting to explore and fight enemies in than a barren wasteland. As much as I disagree with the design of Boston (from the architectural designs to the fact that it’s mostly...

Has Anyone Ever Noticed This Before?

Yeah, Super Mutants had the Hulk haircut in the original games. It’s kinda funny that Bethesda made every Super Mutant bald but let some ghouls keep their hair. Should be the other way around. Perhaps they wanted to make it easier to differentiate between male and female ghouls. There’s...

Help Me Justify the Enclave in Washington D.C.

I didn’t know about this, but, and correct me if I’m wrong, every significant member of the American government (and possibly major corporations, though this isn’t explicitly stated) fled to the Oil Rig before the Great War. The Oil Rig is where they survived the war while the mainland got...

John Deiley interview at The Gamer

Oh that’s right, I forgot about that. Could also be referring to the Think Tank scientists, or even cyberdogs like Rex. I don’t know why Point Lookout was my first thought, I probably haven’t played that in almost ten years.

John Deiley interview at The Gamer

I don’t even have a huge problem with the talking deathclaws, but it’s funny how this article tries to portray Avellone as totally unreasonable. My takeaway is that Avellone was right about everything. Also, the author seems to forget that during the development of Fallout 2, there was only...

So just so we're clear [Institute's plan]

Yeah I get what you’re saying. After I posted I thought about how the fact that synths are more like clones than machines might mean that they take less resources (namely, metal) to manufacture. And their infiltration capabilities are certainly useful. At the very least, the Institute should be...

So just so we're clear [Institute's plan]

Well, exactly what tasks do they need doing? Digging? Build an excavator bot. Cleaning? Build a roomba. Factory assembly line work? Robotic arms work just fine. Using a computer? If you’ve got that kind of advanced AI, the computer can do everything itself. I just can’t think of many uses for...

So just so we're clear [Institute's plan]

I’m convinced that the Institute only created synths so they could have robot sex slaves. That’s really the only use that synths are more suited for versus more specialized robots.

Fallout: The Series now the most successful Amazon show ever

Thanks for clarifying, I assumed you were just being hypocritical. Apparently everyone else did too lol.

This is the false one, isn’t it?

    Isn’t this the same quest?

Ten Reasons Why Fallout 4 is worse than Fallout 3

There’s a few unmarked quests, like helping Leo with his drug addiction, repairing the water pipes, paying off Gob’s debt. There’s one woman who wants you to deliver a letter to her family in Arefu, I think that’s the only “quest” that isn’t self-contained to Megaton (other than the Wasteland...

Ten Reasons Why Fallout 4 is worse than Fallout 3

Not a good example because not only can you help out the powder gangers, you can kill literally every single person affiliated with the NCR on your way to the Strip and once you leave the Tops you are forgiven.

Ten Reasons Why Fallout 4 is worse than Fallout 3

I think that skill checks in those games work by taking your skill and adding/subtracting to it based on difficulty. So it’s possible to have 100% chance to pass most checks. There are some checks that are either pass/fail too I think.

Pic isn’t showing for me. Let me guess, Golgotha?

Todd Howard suggests that they'll start on Fallout 5 soon

I think the bigger issue is that Megaton is the only place in the game that definitely for sure has a water purifier yet their economy doesn’t seem to be built around it. Why the hell is Canterbury Commons in charge of caravans? Megaton needs to be shipping that shit around to every settlement...

Todd Howard suggests that they'll start on Fallout 5 soon

I’ll give you Megaton, they do explicitly have a water purifier. I guess we can assume Rivet City has a water purifier, though we don’t see one iirc. They might’ve been using Jefferson Memorial as a water purifier/desalination plant, but it seems to have been taken over by Super Mutants since...
