Starting New Game - Hardcore Mode Plus House Rules

If you use Courier's Stash use the mod that scatters all that equipment across the wasteland for you to find instead of just giving it to you at the start, I can't remember the name but it should be on the nexus.

Skills in Fallout 4: What We Know

Well I meant like, in Skyrim at least you could side with either the Stormcloaks or the Imperials and both factions were morally gray at best. It wasn't an army of Jesus clones vs Nazis led by robo-Hitler himself with only the choice to side with the good guys for most of the main questline...

Skills in Fallout 4: What We Know

Is anyone really surprised that the game is looking like Skyrim with guns, though? At the very least at least Skyrim proved that Bethesda is getting better at gray morality instead of blatant black/white stuff. Maybe this time they'll actually let you side with different factions!

Possible Currencies for After the End

Most post-apocalyptic settings that take place when civilization is starting to get back on its feet handwave it away with something about somebody making more bullets.

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

The failure of the Arnold Batman movie and the success of the Nolan movies seem to have given DC's film producers and directors the idea that audiences want grittiness. Really though they should be learning from Marvel and realize that if anything it's the opposite these days. Superman...

This guy speaks the truth about New vegas!

About his Vault 11 point: there literally is a quest that takes you to Vault 11. Why do people who haven't completed a game think they should review it?

Expectations Going Forward to Fallout 4

7-8 maybe. For as much as I disliked about Fallout 3 as a Fallout game, I still enjoyed it more than a lot of games I play. Fallout 4 is looking better so far so I'm staying optimistic and hoping they learned from their past mistakes.

    Bethesda's Fallout 4: Continuity Breaker

Meh none of this really seems like a big deal to me. As long as they don't do any more stupid major retcons like they did in Fallout 3 (turning super mutants into stupid orcs, etc.) Blurring some obscure sections of the timeline feels like a non-issue to me though.

I think FO4 is taking a step in the right direction.

It does look better than Fallout 3, but it isn't rare for developers to lie about their games this early on. I wouldn't be surprised if it is better than Fallout 3 but that's really setting the bar kind of low. The question is whether or not it will be better than New Vegas.

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

I go to movies alone all the time, nobody cares. I'll never understand why people actually keep themselves from doing things in life that they'd like to just because people who probably don't care might judge them. I've actually seen Fury Road twice so far, once alone and once with my...

The Ultimate Movie Thread of Ultimate Destiny

Wow you guys really think the first Mad Max was the best in the franchise? I thought it was the weakest. I assumed you were getting upset about the implication that Fury Road might be better than The Road Warrior or Beyond Thunderdome (both of which also had fairly big budgets). I'd...
