With the BOS ending you have all the radiant quests you had in the main game, with Knights appearing in Diamond city. You get an apology from that dick in the police station, who then returns to being a dick if you take missions from him.

I like the 9th Doctor best(Eccleston), but that could be because I like the chemistry he has with Rose.

There's also the fact the BOS has you "tie up loose ends," but a fully sentient Nick Valentine isn't one of them because DLC.

That's way more to do with the writer than the character. I really liked what they did with him in Punisher Max and I started the new series and it's psycho drug dealers, so I hope Becky Cloonan can keep him grounded through the whole run.
