I think Fallout 3 was a good game. Hell, it was technically my first Fallout game that I sat and played. I played a sliver of Fallout 1 when my father showed me the game, but I started with 3 for a bit (but my hard copy broke) and then played NV. Good times. Fallout 4 is a dumpster heap of a game.

Is there a mod that gets rid of the "sliding" effect between certain menus? Like going from the dialogue to the trading menu. If not, how can I get rid of this effect?

With most mods, it will probably look shoddy when compared to game where they got paid to develop it. However, their previous mod, Fallout Zero, looks good.

I want a mod that strips away all the voice acting and replaces it with voiceless dialog boxes like Fallout 1 and 2, mainly as a modder's tool. That way, people can easily mod the story to be better, or add custom quests without the awkward voiceless NPC. I want the same for FONV and F3.

Turn based might be dead, but that doesn't mean that Fallout can't be made with an engaging story, a cast of memorable characters, etc. Awesome insult btw. 9/10.

The consistent dumbing down of the average AAA game. They get boring to play after a while because I personally love games that are always challenging, instead of a little challenge at the beginning and no challenge at the end.

Has anyone thought of stripping away all the voice acting in FO3/NV to rewrite/add quests/encounters/etc. and include more meaningful choices? I think that would be a really cool mod to play, and couple that with gameplay mods, I believe we would have a 3D classic game more akin to the classics...

It's kinda sad, when playing Fallout 2, that there will never be an official Fallout game that follows the classic roots. Will there ever be a game like Fallout? I heard Wasteland 2 was a bust.
