"You weren't there in Anchorage, Piper... You think you got a sector cleared, that you can take a load off and drink with the boys... First, you catch a hint of maple in the wind, then the trees start speaking Quebecois..."
-Nate (probably)
There is lots of auto-speak, starting from a linear section to show off their budget with the demons running around, Tevinter, etc.
It will be more of an action game, which I'm not inherently against if what they have shown was any good but it seemed by the numbers.
Are they having management issues, have they scrapped and restarted a few times? CDPR's glass door reviews gave insight into what was happening behind the scenes with CP2077. I wonder if something similar is happening here.
I feel remakes are only necessary for flawed games that have the potential to be good. Otherwise, a remaster or update that runs the game on modern hardware would suffice. Konami could have attempted a faithful remaster of the first 4 silent hill games (not the fuckup that was the HD collection)...
I finished a campaign run of Battletech, which lasted about 50 hours. Pretty fun. I will hold off replaying it until I can get all the DLC.
Watching the PS State of Play:
Concord barely showed any gameplay but the little it did show reminded me of Destiny Crucible which I was a big fan of when...
Yeah, it's a shame how season 2 killed all momentum for the show. It's interesting to hear about what went on behind the scenes with season 1 and Darabont.
I think a C&C-style remaster would be better. I don't know who would be behind that though, Nightdive? I doubt Bethesda would touch it unless they were full-on remaking it in their style.
