i am having some trouble with the end i don't know where to go to avoid being destroyed by the nuke in the end mission how do i survive it.

i am stuck in Quincy i didn't talk to the person in the beginning and went to free the mayor but when i need the key to disable the alarm the mayor didn't talk to me and i couldn't get the key. but when i went back to talk to the girl but it wont let me go on it doesnt update the objectives pls help
