Well, that's unfortunate, but thanks for the replies since I know can stop trying. :) I downloaded the patch long ago, but it will not work with my version of the game and I cannot access the files IN the patch file via Resource Hacker. I do not worry about screen texts etc.; the translation...

Oh well, I thought it was a basic enough question and did not want to bother the code wizards. :) I'll ask a mod to move it to the hacking & editing board.
