I think NCR and New Reno would making interesting start locations. Lots of little quests you could make involving the factions in those towns. Anyhow, there is a lot to consider for a game like this - what is going to interest players? In Everquest it was character customization, item upgrades...

So you dont want to do it Everquest style with different start town options? I think it would be cool to do it that way. I'd like the option to start off in a vault, or a raider camp or whatever.

I got the shaman quest while playing a female character - perception and intelligence both lower than 8, but I think my agility was 9. Oh, and speech tagged. 8)

I thought it was great also. Not much talk going on about this mod - if you haven't tried it yet give it a shot. It's fun.

I just think a Pipboy would give it a more authentic fallout feel. It seems like the journal would fulfill the same purpose, so why not go with a fallout original?

That looks pretty damn good. So... is there combat or what? Oh, and instead of a journal I think they should use a pipboy. Other than that, solid start!

Kudos to TeamX! I'm enjoying the mod - think I played it for at least 3 hours straight yesterday. Who did the dialog by the way? I'm pleasantly surprised how good it is.

I can confirm winzip9 works. Far as I can tell it's all in Polish. The maps are cool - a little sparse. There's some pretty original scenery use on the truck map. Won't spoil it, but it's worth checking out.

Yeah, I agree with you. Most people have some kind of idea, but just won't sit down and work on it. Luckily we've had some exceptional people on the project that not only have good ideas but also make them happen. You really need people that will take that extra step.

I'd just like to add that we are looking for talented mappers and writers as well. Mutants Rising is turning into a big time project, and we need a dedicated team to make it a reality. Get involved if you want to help shape what could be a great fanmade sequel to the original fallouts.
