Perma death and the sheer number of skills that you can have in the wasteland sounds pretty awesome :-) Glad I pledged.
Btw.: You can get working Russian keys for around 15€. Bought one today and played through the game. Multiplayer just works fine as well. With the 1.0.0.22 patch, aiming is finally a blast and it got rid of this stupid mouse acceleration/deceleration :-)
I know an open source game project that relies on pottle for this purpose and it seems to work very well:

It actually depends on the engine.
If you use the Fallout 2 engine for it, it would be simply a lot of work for prolly not much gain.
If you use a different engine for the purpose, you might get a cease and desist letter sooner or later.
Heya and welcome to a short PARPG news update.
If you've watched our wiki closely over the last four weeks, you might have realized that the PARPG team has been researching Agile software development in general and Scrum as one Agile framework in special. When we had our first stab at the...
As you might remember: we were looking for a lead writer for PARPG recently. Quite surprisingly for us, not just one but a couple of writers were interested in filling this role on the team. We considered to use a formal application process to handle this but after quite some discussion on the...

EDIT: Misinterpreted your statement. Thanks for the pointer, I'll send him a PM.
Pictures or it didn't happen :-)
Concerning tossing around ideas: one of the main problems with writers in the past has...
Right now we're trying to find a lead writer. We used to approach the writing situation a bit different in the past, but that didn't really work out.
So we'll be looking for "assitant/contributing writers" down the line who'll flesh out smaller details after the to be found lead writer has...
I appreciate what you've done for the Fallout community and I love your guides Per, but that was a pretty stupid remark, wasn't it?
You know, there are actually games being made with FIFE these days:

EDIT: I should have thought of a funnier reply. How...
