No, you're 100% correct in that. There's no justification in it whatsoever, Reviews and marketing should be two very seperate things. I was just reiterating that Bethesda weren't the only publishers guilty of this.

While I have to admit, my memory is hazy and it's been a fair while since I played Fallout 3, I didn't think the atmospheric music was too bad. I'd actually say I enjoyed some of it. Hell, I didn't mind the songs coming through the pipboy, but it was the radio DJ's just irritated me to no end...

I'm not a particular fan of MMO's, nor do I see quite how a Fallout MMO will work, but I'll definitely be keeping an eye on this. Oh, and a brand spanking new soundtrack by Mark Morgan plz ;)

I was so damn optimistic about Fallout 3. I just don't think I could take Bethesda shitting all over another franchise I adore. That comment says "another developer", so I'm hoping, praying it isn't Baldur's Gate. Or Zork. I love me some Zork.

My first suggestion is my biggest personal gripe. Inject some suitable ambient music into the game, a no brainer would be the F1 and F2 soundtracks.

Yay! I'm so excited! I was one of the generally positive "let's wait and see" crowds, later believing that it'd be a crap fallout game, but a decent (non fallout) game. Now it sounds like we're getting oblivion 1.5? Yippee.

I like what I'm seeing here, just not as a Fallout sequel. It's definitely Fallout inspired, which is great, but it's added stuff that I personally feel doesn't fit, and removed some stuff that I believe was necessary to make a sequel. As for the game itself, these videos are beautiful...

That's awesome news, I'm a huge Mark Morgan fan, I almost had a gay moment when I found out he worked on Zork: Nemesis. Looking forward to his new projects :D

Watched the slightly better quality clip, and I'm certainly not blown away. I can't say for certain, but the environments looked very bland and in that demonstration, boring. Maybe it was just a test situation, and they didn't want to give much away, but I have to admit I'm underwhelmed...
