you might have a little trouble with horrigan but if you get the turrets,enclave troopers, and your npcs to attack him while you have the gauss pistol you might be really good. iv never tried a one hander myself but now that i think about it i guess its better so Vic and Cassidy could have gauss...

Well it kinda depends on what kind of character im playing. like if im playing an old west hero kinda guy then like a shotgun or hubting rifle but if im playing a modern day normal guy that scowers the waste searching for aliens to shred up using a bozar then any weapon(but mostly a bozar!)
