What option did you select when you configured it to run Fallout?

When I used this program I could play Fallout just fine except that when a video or talking head came up, the screen went completely black and returned to to normal when the video was over or I exited out of dialog. Maybe I didn't configure it to run Fallout right? What options should I select...

Fallout 1 Mods/Patches I've looked back several pages, so I hope I didn't miss anything on this. In order to get the most out of Fallout which patches and mods should I use? I have been trying to use the Team X patches and "mods", but I can't seem to get them to work together.
