    Stupid fallout experiences...

Oh, that wasn't even close to the worst part. After reading this book, and taking quite a bit of radiation,(My count was at about 1200) I left The Glow. Headed into the wasteland, and was immediately given the "radiation sickness" events. Losing hair, brain hemorrhages, all the near-death stuff...

    Stupid fallout experiences...

Went to The Glow, used Rad-X, found a book, and...read it. I failed to remember that the Rad-X wouldn't stay in effect forever.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

You save on the second floor(where Angela and Mrs. Bishop are), exit to the main menu, reload your save, then get to the third floor(I used the "0" trick to escape Bishop's dialogue) and repair the safe. Head back down, possibly having to use 0 again(Assuming you turn off the "Can't use 0"...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Dude, you're awesome. It worked. Bishop was hit for a ton of damage, killed, and no crash. I had tried saving in the club before, but had never exited, then reloaded, before trapping the safe. I am eternally in your debt.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I've no idea if this has anything to do with the RP, but I can't seem to assassinate Bishop "cleanly". If I try to replace the explosives in the safe, the game crashes. If I repair the safe, go downstairs, and wait ten minutes, I hear the explosion, get the XP for killing Bishop, even get the...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

I believe that I have figured out my problem. While still curious as to why a Humongous install was causing trouble with the RP, I've found that it works fine with a Small installation. Free I am to once again enjoy the awesome which makes up the great being known as...Fallout. Lots of cheers...

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

Still an awesome patch, but now FO2 isn't working on my computer...the only thing I've been doing lately is playing a bunch of Fallout 1, and some Tactics. Maybe Fallout 2 got jealous, and has decided to punish me...I'm running FO2 on Win98, with a Humongous install, and the RP. No other mods...

What are NPCs really good for?

Isn't that what everyone does?

What are NPCs really good for?

In Fallout 2, Dogmeat, Cassidy, and the Cybernetic Dog from Navarro are pretty useful...until you accidentally minigun them. Poor Dogmeat...that critical sure was awesome, though.

So what did you do last night?

I was awake until around 2-3 AM after I finished working on a character in a Marvel PnP RPG. Managed to accidentally kill Mysterio by hacking him in the knee with a nano-sword, sending him 308 yards away and into a courthouse. Typical day at the office.

Today, 13-06-2008, is Friday the 13th. Any thoughts on this?

I tend to have pretty good luck on the 13th, contrary to some of the superstitions. I'm the weird one of the family, I guess.

Fallout 2 Restoration Project 1.2 (Unofficial FO2 Expansion)

This is a great patch, man. Gave me a reason to start playing again. My only problem is the fact that I cannot enter the Primitive Tribe location. Some sort of error occurs and I get tossed to the desktop. I'm running the game with only the RP, on Win98. I've played up to Gecko and Vault City...

The Obligatory "What are you listening to" Thread

The Benny Hill theme. Forgot what it's called, but it's really funny. I have it stuck on an endless loop. Right now I'm going on about an hour of continuous Benny Hill themage. And I still never fail to laugh when something around me happens in a comedic way, like my cat running around, sliding...

    Old school cartoons....

I would applaud, but one of my hands hurts a bit from hitting those percussion notes in Rock Band.

    Pointless RP Exercises

I usually carry a gun in one item slot, and nothing in the other. This is, of course, to prevent anyone from getting suspicious of my malevolent intentions, which usually involve some sort of attack on the city that I currently "live" in. I sometimes pick an empty(Usually due to me planting some...

What kind of weapons do you want to see in F3?

The Holy Hand Grenade would be nice, as would a rock. Yes, a rock. I happen to like rocks.

    Fallout 2+Benny Hill

Well, recently, as a challenge of my mental endurance, I decided to play random games while listening to a continuous loop of the Benny Hill theme. Needless to say, I failed miserably. One of the games I played was Fallout 2. I set the Benny Hill theme in the background, and started up the game...

    Old school cartoons....

To me, old cartoons are pretty much anything from the mid-nineties. My favorite has always been Johnny Bravo. That was only the second cartoon to feature Donny Osmond as a main supporting character, I think. He appeared quite a few times throughout the series. Plus, seeing Johnny Bravo do...

Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

I did not even know there was a movie named "Darkness Falls." I just thought that Darkness Falls would be a neat name for a small town in Texas is all.

    Stupid fallout experiences...

The most stupid experience I have had in Fallout so far is definitely the time I "accidently" hit Vic with my minigun. He died instantly and horribly. Well, it was that idiot's fault for getting in the way! One of these days NPCs will realize that when a guy in huge armor, carrying a minigun...
