    Operation: Anchorage interview

Nice to see BS ripping off Marvel comics with the Pitt. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Pitt) Otherwise nothing really new here.

Fallout 3 DLC on GfWL and other tidbits

Yup, which is why it was such a surprise to me (who hadn't been following the game, I had just finished playing Morrowind) when Oblivion DLC was pay for. On a similar front, I hope for the buyer's sake they abandon the DRM they were using the the DLC's installers. They swindled a decent amount...

    Kotaku: Fallout 3 is broken

So who's fault is it when it crashes on a console? Frankly your opinion on console crashes is irrelevant. The fact that it crashes at all means that some portion of the code is bad. The gameplay bugs which occur in each version (essentially quest ending bugs) show bad coding. BS had 4 years...

    Kotaku: Fallout 3 is broken

I kind of doubt those consoles do. For one thing I could imagine that neither Microsoft nor Sony (or Nintendo for that matter) would have thought a game could actually crash on a console. Then again even if they did, that would only cover one of the many bugs in the game.

    Downtimes

Thanks for the info. I was wondering why I couldn't seem to connect this morning. Hope the transition goes well.

    Kotaku: Fallout 3 is broken

It's about time someone was reporting on this. I personally gave up on th game after having 2 crashes within 1 hour of play. On top of that the whole escape from the Vault was running at such a low fps even with every setting at the bare minimum (and I'm playing on a system that met the min...

Fallout 3 moves 4.7 million copies

I condemn the game because it's a bad game. Poor combat, bad dialogue, bad plot, awful minigames, the worst tutorial I've ever seen, tons of bugs, deceptive system specs, etc, etc (oh and that cash register sounds when you get XP). I have no problem with someone liking a bad game, there's...

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #34

True, there was like no inflection at all in his speeches. Every time he talked he sounded bored. I don't know how people sounded outside the Vault, but the acting was average at best inside.

    Fallout 3 reviews round-up #31

I look forward to reading it. I only got towards the end of the escape from the vault before I gave up (2 crashes and horrible lag for most of the level). From what I did glean, it was a bad game (and don't get me started on how poor combat was).

    Fallout 3 patch 1.0.0.15 released

So this patch pretty much does nothing? I just had my first crash after playing only 30 mins (borrowed a friend's copy). And it was lagging horribly for about 5 min before hand. That is pretty ridiculous. I wonder how long it'll take before a real patch is released. I have a feeling not any...

Fallout 3 ads and other tidbits

I would say they are to a certain extent but at the same time reviewers now a days seem to have no idea how to actually review a game. I've been considering getting a DS and so I've been looking into game reviews and I have to say most of the sites and reviews I've read have been pretty bad...

    Pete Hines Q&A on Eurogamer

I'm actually fairly curious about the patch that supposedly will come out today. Those Patch Notes will be pretty interesting.

    Fallout 3 ending videos

Probably not much. Going by Oblivion, fixing quests is both increadibly time consuming and difficult plus with the whole everything is spoken impossible to do seamlessly. I would imagine it would be years if ever before we begin to see better quests.

    Fallout 3 & SecuROM

Doesn't entirely surprise me. I mean why half ass making a game when you can also half ass the DRM protection?

    Tidbits on Fallout 3 reviews

I'm curious though, since the problem was with the PS3, how would tech support fix the issue from happening. Since there are no drivers or such wouldn't other people run into the same issue? If it was the PC then maybe but for the PS3 it looks bad for at least IGN.

    Fallout 3 & SecuROM

I would if I was one of the people for whom the game wouldn't install due to SecuRom. Especially since BS said they would not be using SecuRom.

    Buy the originals!

I actually own EWJ 1,2 for the PC and it's pretty good but I do recommend a game pad. I actually got it back in '98 or so. Never could finish 2 but 1 was great.

Over 2000 Midnight Store Openings for Fallout 3

One could reason they are better because they don't treat their buyer like pirates by using intrusive DRM. But BS is worse because unlike EA, they claim they are using a simple CD check and no SecuROm and yet they do use SecuRom and disable simple backup copies. I rarely make back ups, but I...

Fallout 3 guide creation #6: Da Warudo

Which is exactly what I enjoyed about Morrowind, exploration. That was a lot of fun to go around the world finding caves full of neat stuff and then the organic buildings and the dwarven ruins (although I jacked up my character's speed to max so going places didn't take too long). I have no...
