I enjoy the options that DLC provide. Saying that they should be free is naive, as they are not patches to in game content. It isn't like BS is asking to pay for bug fixes. And Point Lookout is awesome.

To all the folks complaining about the game progression achievements, the simple answer is that they show ones progression. Achievements are mainly a quick way to track a friends progress. However, the more tangential ones are the funnest to get, especially when you get them by accident.

I like the idea of Solar powered one, makes me think of feeling rejuvenated when you catch some tasty rays. Also maybe the kids in FO3 have a decent amount of dialog which I think is cool.

Yeah, the Super mart was not that hot, but the music was decent. The signs outside the vault were a nice little piece of atmosphere, reminded me of a reverse Bioshock.

They said it was gonna be Games for Windows right? If so definitely achievements but you can turn off the notifications in your GFW profile. Still have to wait and see if you can turn off the cash register XP noise though. Also i don't think it is a lack of love, it is pretty well known...

The Dark Brotherhood quest line was good, many say it was the only good quest line in Oblivion also it was done by Emil. So here's to hoping for something good from it coming to Fallout 3 instead of Lachance's voice

My all time favorite moment in gaming is probably watching the opening of Fallout 1, followed by ... Betraying yoshi to save myself on a long jump in Super Mario World.

the P.C. VS console intelligence debate is pointless. it cost more money to make a game for consoles; licenses, certifications, learning the new architecture and so on. Thus Making more complex, less consumer friendly games like fallout and some space sim type games is only economically viable...
