    NFL 2009

Not to defend Favre or anything, but Aaron Rogers has yet to take his team to the play-offs while Favre took essentially the same Packers team to the NFC Championship game where they barely lost to the eventual Superbowl Champions. The Vikings did pretty much allow Favre to hold them...

Fallout 3 is #10 in Top Ten RPGs ever for Japanese RPG fans

It's solid and a good play the first time around. Not the greatest thing ever, but I'd say it's decent. Oh, and Japanese folk have weird taste in video games.

    Interplay wins preliminary injunction hearing

Wait so no blow has been struck to the Evil Empire yet? Damn. So does that document just says there is going to be a hearing? Not understanding what's going on.

Why fallout 3 is different then Fallout 1 and 2

The argument that turn based combat system games would never sell is false. Final Fantasy and spinoffs is possibly one of the best selling (if not the best selling) JRPG Series of all time and has used a turn based system since the 1st game. This is speaking strictly from a turn based...

Fallout 3 by any other name...

It wouldn't take a hundred men or a few hundred computers to change the engine at all. You can reverse engineer the game and change it from there. However, you do start running into legal issues there. There are limitations to the engine. And there are limitations to the game. But not all...

    Fallen Earth Post Apaccolyptic MMO

The problem with Fallen Earth is that it lacks content overall. It's generally just lifeless. In a bad way too. However, the game is still young, so I'll give it more time. It's still fun.

Starcraft 2 - It is out there

If you didn't notice Blizzard is doing the following : 1. Splitting SC2 into multiple games 2. B.net 2.0 will have "payable features" 3. There is no LAN support 4. WoW WoTLK is turning into a total noobfest according to what I hear from friends that do play it. So yes, Blizzard's...

Playing Fallout3 again - Looking for advice

The game is very easy. You can do anything you want. In fact, if you have Broken Steel than you can theoretically max every skill.

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Have you taken a computer programming course? Nothing is impossible in computer programming. No security is unbreakable, no program is uncrackable. It's a matter of who has the time and who is willing to put in the effort. Military databases are hacked all the time and have far higher security...

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Hey, I never said that it was easy, only possible :P Indeed it would take something of epic proportions to be able to "fix" Fallout 3. However, it would be nice to see a TRUE Fallout game on a new engine. Things look bleak though, as I fully expect Bethesda to manage to screw up New Vegas...

Power armors suck for game balance

You need Power Armor late game if you are playing normally and are not too experienced with Fallout 2 due to the huge amount of Enclave soldiers you encounter, who are absolutely armed to the teeth as posters stated above. However, Power Armor is also there because Black Isle recognized...

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Now that is a great idea ^^^ You should check out Fallen Earth. It's currently in closed beta, but it will be released early September. Currently playing it, and it's actually fun, believable towns, decent story, and on top of all of that, has great customization and balance. Very buggy...

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Neither do I. Although I do hope one day someone will make it playable, as I did enjoy the first person perspective. On a side note, have you tried Fallen Earth yet? It is an actually a post apocalyptic MMO game with a decent storyline. It's not on par with Fallout 1 or 2, but it's...

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Bethesda's shitty design is fixable; it's just whether or not people have the time to do so. Personally I think it would be a waste of time to do such a thing. But then again, I highly doubt we'll see a post apocalyptic game in the near future anyways (although there is that MMO).

Fallout 3 by any other name...

I never said it would be easy fixing Bethesda's massive screw ups, but with the use of FOSE and alot of work, it is possible. In fact, even the craptacular animations that you see right now are fixable, as are the unlined textures, etc. It would take quite abit of work, quite likely a...

Playing around with the console and achievments for Zeta

I'm pretty sure it's not illegal. It is purely by accident that you did manage to do that. Knowing the tyrannical monster that is Microsoft though, I wouldn't be surprised if they did ban you or something :P

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Fallout 3 Script Extender allows more freedom in modding, and does allow you to somewhat change the core of the game itself. In fact, it allows you to do quite abit. Things that would never be able to be accomplished with the vanilla developer kit Bethesda provided. In fact, I'm pretty...

    Should i buy fallout 3?

If you're going to buy it, you should buy the PC version of it (if you have the PC to run it) because you have access to a great modding community that can fix some of the large and glaring flaws of Fallout 3. However, if you only have a PS3 or 360, then just rent it for 5 days.

Fallout 3 by any other name...

Honestly at least be remotely objective. The game wasn't THAT bad. It could have been much, much, much worse. Yes, it butchered the original lore, it has lots of problems, etc. but what do you expect from Bethesda? The game was average, it could have been alot worse, and Bethesda did at...
