I believe you are mistaking perks and traits. Perks have only a positive effect, but all traits have a positive and negative effect, except for Bloody Mess. FO3 did not have traits at all, which is equally as bad. I agree about the ghouls. Ghouls were integral in FO2, even if they were...

Often times, the best way to experience something is to not experience it at all. You're submitting to someone elses idea of what happened.

Bethesda doesn't care about mystery, lore, canon, feel or anything else that creates depth in a game. All they care about is the bottom line.... Yay Bethesda Softworks here to bastardize everything.

A sequel in title, perhaps, but a spinoff in all other respects. Dues Ex was infinitely better than Fallout 3.

K, so we're arguing different points. Yes, ghouls would be defined as mutants. Ghouls, however, would not be part of the mutant race. Though they are mutated, they are not mutants by race.

According to who? I've never seen that. If that were the case then why are there mutated versions of mutants. For instance pigrats and mutated pigrats? I always assumed pigrats were the result of radiation, and mutated pigrats were pigrats who were infected with FEV. 2 our of 3 developers...
