As it turns out the Desks in the Zion Ranger Station--which is what I was using as general storage during the DLC--is perfectly safe for storage when traveling between the Mojave and Zion. At least on XBox it is. This will be good to know for other playthroughs.

I am about to finish up the the main quest and boy do I have a lot of crap! Anyway, my dilemma is how I am going to take it all back to the Mojave. Is there any safe places to stash items where they won't disappear in between trips between the Mojave and Zion? I ask because I have heard that...
