Divide and conquer, my thoughts on console mods

I never thought about this too much because I've been a PC gamer for years and recently bought an R9 390 which rejuvenated my experience. But they simply have to filter the mods they allow on console. They won't allow anything offensive because they still have a reputation to save. They won't...

Which is The worst quest in Fallout 4?

Yeah. I feel like Bethesda is that really awkward person you know but have to be nice to. In their head they are thinking, 'wow, we sure gave Obsidian a cool little call back to their game! Now if they ever make another one in the Mojave they can have aliens and cool sci-fi stuff just like...

Can we honestly say Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3?

Upon rewatching the first six episodes I felt like A New Hope and Return of the Jedi weren't as good as I remembered. They were mediocre films, which is more than I can say for the prequels, and Space Hobbit-I mean Episode 7. Episode V however... Far surpassed my memories. That was a...

    Romance Help (Piper)

I'll help you anyway. Don't worry about missing the romance conversation the first time around. All companions at max affinity will randomly strike up the conversation over and over again. Just have to wait for Piper to ask for your attention again. I noticed this happens a lot if you leave...

Can we honestly say Fallout 4 is better than Fallout 3?

On the laser musket, I just mod away the whole front end. Think it looks better without it. Back on topic, I think despite Fallout 3's numerous flaws, it is far superior to Fallout 4, even without any handicap provided to it due to its age. Fallout 3 had multiple side quests with branching...

Remember The Good Stuff In Fallout 3

BEST LOCATION:There were a few good ones I saw already in this thread so I'll give a lesser known one that I like: The Red Racer factory. FUNNIEST NPC: I will have to go with Dukov on this one. EASIEST MONEY GATHERING WAY: Complete a quest, sell all the equipment you've 'liberated'. WEIRDEST...

If you had to choose TWO things Fallout 4 did RIGHT, what would they be?

My two favorite things would have to be: 1. The crafting and scavenging system. I found myself actually searching for and picking up different kinds of objects that I would have completely ignored in previous titles, and selling quite a lot less of it. In a post apocalyptic game, even a...

    Finally uninstalled

Yes, I do think there were some very interesting Fallout 3 side quests. The main quest was, in retrospect, a taste of the disaster that was to come in the form of Fallout 4, but I did like some quests such as You Gotta Shoot 'Em in the Head, or Tenpenny Tower. These were quests that had...

Can we all agree Bethesda did power armor right?

I don't mind the HUD colour but I do think the HUD was pretty lackluster in general. A sad attempt to mimic Project Nevada and other mods that added HUDs specifically for power armor and other helmets. Bathesda's HUD looks like a dashboard to some kind of vehicle, not an in helmet HUD.

Can we all agree Bethesda did power armor right?

I do think the new power armor system is a pretty good idea all around. Requiring power, feeling like a one man tank, much better resistance to damage than regular armor and many other neat ideas. The one thing I don't like is that the game makes them look like over-sized action figures. They...

For all you oldschool fanboys.. Look what i found!

I think that, in some respects, the art style of FO4 is closer to something like that of Fallout 1. There are plenty of times where I have paused my game and had it remind me of some of the 3D cutscenes and images you could see at various points in the first game.

Plot Holes of Fallout 4 - Spoilers

This is a good point. I would reply by saying this should have been explained. As it stands now, we can only speculate as to why the Institute used the strategy of reclamation that they do. Nevertheless, they are supposed to be extremely intelligent scientists and should be able to install...

Plot Holes of Fallout 4 - Spoilers

So I recently finished the Fallout 4 main quest line by siding with the Minutemen, and aside from being utterly underwhelmed by nearly every aspect of this game I've been thinking about all the various plot holes I've discovered. Here's my personal favourite. If you play the game siding with...

Introduce yourself! AKA the "Say hello" thread

Hello, I'm new here. I've spent a few months lurking, starting really with the announcement of FO4. I knew about these forums before, and certainly visited once or twice, but once I saw FO4 would be stripping away the skill system, using a voiced protagonist and forcing you to use a dialogue...
